    He is a single figure goals per season man at best 1in 4
    Struggled to get in a poor Stevenage team before we signed him
    If you want a "charity" bet he doesn't score more than 10 league goals for us next season am happy to oblige
    Looking good with a great attitude in training doesn't equate to goals

    Strikers famously work best in pairs and off each other, My forecast is Guthrie and Nolan will be both in the top scorers list in this division and some may have to eat a large slice off humble pie over Guthrie

    Stuart is playing a game of smoke and mirrors trying to justify the clubs decisions of the Vaughan fiasco and trying to convince us we don't need another striker
    Unusual for him he is usually quite forthright

    He scored 12 in 33 and 14 in 38 in last three seasons in poor teams. Which is better than most of our strikers have done

    That article reads like the targets to replace Vaughan are going tits up (shock), so the club are getting us used to the fact Guthrie will be a regular this season when we inevitably fail to bring someone else in.
