I like Cook and for this season he can do a job but if we don't go up then I would be looking to get rid. In fact if we do go up I would certainly get rid.

Reason is that yes he scores but he offers nothing to how we play and if stops scoring then for me its pointless keeping him.

When he's working on confidence, Cook instinctively gets into good scoring positions and that's exactly what you need when the guy can put them in with his head and either foot. He's a battering ram, not pretty but who cares?

I want my strikers to score goals to win games. We don't need an all rounder to be successful.

We have rarely had an all round striker that you appear to crave.
