not just hopkin, but 3 previous head coaches haven’t either.

he’s too inconsistent, doncaster away showed that whereas oldham at home showed his lack of positional sense.

he’s not the worst if you’re going to play him for 10-15mins when chasing a game to try and get the fans going (for some reason fans love a trick with no end product) but any more than that and he looks lost. certainly nowhere near a starting berth.

 

Maybe because as a football club for most of our time we have been a lower league club and that's the type of player you get in leagues 1/2.
If the player was delivering consistantly he'd be playing at a higher level.

 

i agree you get more inconsistency the lower you go in the football league but he’s not good enough at the moment. that’s not just my opinion but seems to be the opinion of our last 4 coaches.. if you’re a winger and you’re the only fit winger in the squad but still not getting games, surely that’s a sign.
