Me & young ones will take "C" block ,Any thing for a laugh, let's be honest,we cannot be serious about any thing
that happens down at V.P.anymore, but in my opinion I will enjoy what I can whilst I can. Hope there's more than us in there.

At risk of dipping my toe in happy clappers pool,we have in the past,defied logic and belief.The players should show resolve,beat Aldershot and have a crack at least.It may be an advantage to play Peterboro' in the league first and hopefully learn a few things.Not how to be magnanimous in defeat!

Aside from Parkys couple of runs in the cup, our cup record is atrocious

Probably about average for a lower league team but I remember 59/60 v Burnley in 5th round nearly sending them out,they were league champions that year and having beaten Everton at home 3-0 in 3rd round.Beating Everton away with Chris Waddle wonder goal. It depends what you call atrocious.Being knocked out in first round loads of times but our league position usually meant we were playing higher opposition.Sometimes the occasional great runs are more appreciated due to being up against it year on year.

 

I don’t doubt that but even in our prem and championship days we would get knocked out early

 

Well we could of been better and no mistake.As a premier club we were always going to be on the end of a giant killing.

We've been given a hard draw and I doubt many give us a chance.However,Peterborough probably have a worse cup record than us, so along with a couple of wins there recently we have a chance we just have to get past Aldershot to try take it.
