Most people on here who criticise the Pulse are sheep who don’t have a mind of their own. Pulse for me every time over Radio Leeds.

I've always had time for the Pulse, but this current run has made them pretty unappealing to me.

Jason has been too whiney for me, and always talks about how he's perceived as being too whiney.

Radio Leeds just seems a bit more level, emotionally, and unbiased - professional traits when it comes to broadcasting.

 

Does it depend who is commentating?

 

To a degree yes, i don't mind Thornton when he is on his own.

 

he is shite, yes, but he was on the field as a striker when it went to a shoot out - if he hadn't stepped up and instead sent up a defender, or even the keeper or something I'd have slaughtered him.

he might be rubbish, and frankly I'm amazed he managed to hit the ball on target, but he damn sure should be taking a penalty in the shoot out if he wants to call himself a striker.

 

It doesn't matter what he does, you just slaughter him anyway!

 

I only go in on a Saturday now so there is little I can do. I used to put all sorts together to make it sound interesting and relevant, plus graphics and social media stuff but they simply don't have the resources that the BBC have.

 

He corrected himself almost instantly during the live coms but I cut that from the highlights.

 

Bruneker took a penalty and scored, he deserves brownie points for stepping up, knowing full well he would get slated if he hadn’t, plus more abuse if he had missed, now that takes guts, something we have been short of, so take a bow Bruneker. Now see if you can move on from the confidence you have gained, and put one in the net the next time you come on.

what about if a defender is a better penalty taker than a striker would you still expect a striker to take a penalty just because there a striker? Plenty of defender's in the past have taken penalties.

in a shoot out I'd expect at least 5 players to take penalties, including our best taker, obviously.
if one of our strikers isn't in that 5 then I'd say thats bizarre and a bit concerning.

 

I suspect if most keepers didn’t dive either way they’d save a fair few.
