Part of my problem with the current set up is there isn't a single player, coach, manager, official etc at the club that I actually like and would be sorry/ gutted if they left.

In the past, and not so distant past, there would at least 3 or 4 that I would be sorry to see go.

Now there isn't a single one who I would give a stuff over, including Cook who gives me the impression he doesn't care who pays him.

This club has too many players with the Eoin Doyle attitude and not enough with the Greg Abbott I guarantee you in ten years time there won't be a single player in the current squad who is being interviewed by the T&A about his time at City, including the so called CEO.

We need epoch builders like Parky, Stuart, Abbott, before we can put any spine back into this club.

 

The most telling thing for me about twitter boy is he knows what people think about him because a) he reads the forums because he is too vain not to, and b) he will have been absolutely savaged in that childish survey he sent out, BUT he refuses to acknowledge he is getting it wrong and has just withdrawn from twitter instead to hide from the truth.

His inability to do the job is becoming as damaging as the way edin (who probably could have been an effective ceo if he had just stuck at that) went about things.

The first change we need isn't Rupp or Adams out (though long term both meed to go and probably in that order) its getting rid of a person in a key position who is only fit to run a social media campaign not a football club.

 

Another day wasted, £100 wasted on tickets, food, petrol. City players couldn’t give a feck, Sparks doesn’t give a feck, Adams is just a boring feck. Yep I’m fecked off.

Once he failed to win the tussle with Patrick he should have brought him down and taken a yellow, his only attempt to bring him down was once Patrick had got into the box typical non-league defending, having said that we were never going to get back into the game we were so bad.

 

And your point is what ? Do you even know what an epoch is ? If so tell me why you going its funny that the midfield pairing from our 1985 promotion team, the mainstay of our 1999 promotion team and the manager that took us to Wembley twice weren't parts of an epoch ?

I really hope Adams understands what we need, its down to him this window- he cant blame Turnbull now.

We need to stop signing players who look good on paper, but just cant hack it at City. I've lost count how many times have I thought we' d got a player who looks the part based on previous form (usually at struggling clubs). Gillead is the perfect example, he didn't hack it the first time round, did well in a poor Scunthorpe side last season, but he just cant do it for us, hes not good enough. Pretty on the eye footballer with no end product.

Watt may well do well in a higher league, but his basic passing all season has been abysmal. Ok he looks keen and ocassionaly plays an amazing pass, but if he cant frequently pass 10 yards without setting the opposition off on a defence splitting move then I'm afraid we need better.

Gary Jones talked a lot of sense today, we need lads that wont shrink under the expectation. You've got to hand it to Parky , he made some questionable signings, but he generally signed players who he knew could handle the pressure. Ravenhill, Thompson, Darby, McCardle, Connell, Jones they all had the mentality we needed to get out of this pit and they all understood the DNA of the club. Players we could identify with - we havent had this in a long time!

 

Feel your anguish. Did train tickets before Christmas so add 65 on..... Tbh Tuesday will make no difference because our apathetic fanbase will allow it

Don't get this notion that Watt will do better in a higher league, when as you say his basic passing is poor. If he is struggling at this level to do the simple things, he certainly won't hack it in the Championship, not that I think Norwich and Blackpool will pursue their interest in him
