Rupp, Sparks AND Adams.

 

We need these out of our club ASAP before they kill it off.

 

I think it was a case of many of us were so desperate for a winning formula that we believed everything with pretty much blind faith that a convincing rookie CEO and semi-proven manager might just be a change that brings success.

Fact is they’ve had over half a season and we’re bottom half of the league 10 points above the trap door to non-league.

It has been a failed experiment which all parties now need to acknowledge and move forward with.

 

Say we were to sack Adams. Where do we go from there? He just joins a growing list of managers sacked. I'm definitely not his biggest fan but we've tried sacking managers before and it hasn't worked. Adams is a manager that has had recent success at this level. Our problems are higher up than Adams. We have been run poorly for far too long. The majority of the problems we have are with rupp and sparks. Although Adams is definitely not blameless. Recent history has shown that sacking the manager is usually just a kop out and doesn't fix the problems we have.

 

What a dreadful day Fordy, but where do we find a new owner, a new CEO and a new manager in the next 20 days to make all the changes that need making to this shithole of a team?

Why we persist with players who fail week in week out.
Tactics that leave Kelleher 1 v 1 against Patrick who will win a sprint every day.
Long throw ins that never work.
Lethargic spells that go on for dozens of minutes.
Panic and total loss of composure from players who've racked up over a 100 league games.
Elliott Watt having a mare but gets 90 minutes every pissing week, drag him off and show the team you mean business ffs!!
A total lack of respect for the supporters whilst Failing to answer direct questions from the local radio presenter that the support want to hear that might put their minds at ease, pure deflection and lack of responsibility.#

I could go on.
This guy isn't fit to lace Stuart's boots.
Im not asking for McCall but at least he was honest, decent and spoke to the supporters whilst trying to get a tune out of a team that was a lot worse than the squad that Derek has now.

 

Start with getting rid of Adams or Sparks! If not both but that will mean Rupp waking up.

I know the logic is you make decisions based on results, success, progress, form, style etc but it is increasingly striking me that with Adams he is just not the right fit for the club. There is a distance, an arrogance and aloofness that just doesn't feel right.
There is a lack of enjoyment, excitement and no general feeling of happiness surrounding the club at present that transcends the simplicity of results.

With Stuart I emotionally sad that it didn't work for him but Adams...well there is just nothing. My apathy and lack of attachment to the club is growing. We have had many poor teams over the years and frustration and anger have been common themes but with this lot....nothing.

I hate feeling like this, I want to feel passion again (be it good and bad) but it is so difficult under the current regime. Hope some of this makes sense

 

Scary how little Rupp still gets mentioned by some, maybe manager 20 and the penny will drop ey?!

 

To be successful you need either an owner or a CEO who knows the football business. We have neither, and haven't had for an awful long time. That's why managers who've been successful elsewhere fail here repeatedly.

 

I hope so maybe I'll get to met the elusive Mr Ford.

I'll answer this.

Keep it all separate in your mind. Football managers get judged on results and Adams results haven't be good enough. He can't even put in back to back wins. He hasn't improved any player. He's been dreadful. His football is dire. He is cocky and never takes the blame. He couldn't even say sorry today to the fans. He's a stubborn man and is failing at this club.

So judge Adams on football and results. Do this and you understand he needs to go now.
