Sparks won't sack Adams regardless of what happens this season.

As much as this situation is dreadful right now i dont think Adams should be sacked, its clear now and has been for some time that the squad is lacking in quality, and his hands are tied because of that. I do question selling Crankshaw but hey ho.

Time to galvanise and get behind them all , its the only way. A player like Andy Cook is s huge miss to this side.

Its those at the top that are the real ones letting us down Rupp and Sparks (for what its worth) lets hear what you've got to say about it all?

There is no guarantee of success appointing any manager or coach and even less a guarantee of quick success. Even the likes of Pep and Klopp can’t do it without spending millions and improving the squad they inherited. Ultimately the game is about players. Recruitment of players is key.
I would rather have good players than a good coach.Three or four good players could change everything. A change of manager could change nothing.

Phil Parkinson was brought in to keep us in the Football League which ultimately he did but it was far from easy many doubting he would succeed.
I'd prefer promotion this season but if its a matter of promotion next season giving Adams chance to recruit his type of player I'll wait as I don't believe his sacking is the answer.

Steve Evans - for absolutely no reason at all has become a figure of near-obsession for City fans for a decade and counting.

Treading water at Gillo, hasn't achieved anything in years, reputation entirely undeserved, only ever did well on a big budget

Maybe if Darragh takes over and decides to bankroll him - under Sparks and Rupp it's probably the worst choice we could make.

    Thankfully he's employed.

Because we are an upside down club never do things in the right way
Why IF (probably what's left of the Crankshaw debacle) we have money to spend in January do we tell clubs, agents, players to dig in for more money :x3::x3:
    It's the way we roll

Clubs and agents will all know how much we have to spend without Sparks mentioning it in an interview - as we will for their players. There are not a lot of secrets behind the scenes.

I have not listened to DMAC because I find his continuous self publicity nauseating but I wonder if he has actually met and talked to Derek Adams? The description I've read above sounds just like the current manager at Peterborough.
The Posh chairman once appointed Graham Westley so he knows how to pick them!

He’s not done bad getting them to the championship on their crowds.

he goes on a bit but there’s a lot of sense in there too.

Mate, as a club we should be ahead of the Posh. We are miles behind.

The only house that needs sorting out is Bradford City's.

So according to news today we are adding to the recruiting side Salford head of recruiting that Adams has worked with before. That being the case looks like Adams is going no where and is planning on rolling sleeves up to get out of the mess we are in. This being said I will judge him this time next year he has January and summer to build on what he thinks is a quality team. And I think we are going to have to put up and shut up till then. And if this time next year we still in this mess he definitely can go.

And if Mr Gibb and pension fund hadn't ???
Mr Gibb was very unceremoniously evicted from the club when he held a couple of aces
Its business and the club weren't very good at it in those days
Oh for someone with his acumen/interest/drive to be in charge today

Why on earth would we want to move to a smaller stadium, charge more to get in, have lower crowds, higher finance costs through a mortgage etc. This has been done to death. Valley Parade is costly but it's probably less costly than owning our own ground and building a smaller one would limit us when we do recover and move up the leagues.

It's just a smoke screen by the Gibb Haters.

For those financial thickos like myself, can you educate me and explain in simple terms how it does work then?

Ps I'm still awaiting your reply to my earlier question to you on why Rupp should dip into his own pockets and invest in the club when you had already said you wouldn't invest because nobody makes a return in football.

Just to remind you @Fordy117@Fordy117 ..

The Adams situation is just the same as boris's, want them both out but fear of who might turn up instead..

Get rid and the same folk wanting him gone will be coming out with the same 5 months down the line when the next messiah walks through the door.

these lot probably now know they are on borrowed I mean can any motivate a bunch of players that know there not really wanted ?????
I mean the striker situation sums us up we bring off one poor striker for another is that ever gonna help
As for folk going on about him making these signings do you really believe he brought in all this lot ????
Do you really believe that if the funding was there he would have brought in Robinson and Lavery ????
If this was all down to Adams then why would Turnbull have departed straight after the window ????? Why not at the very start of his tenure?????
We need one man whose needs at least a couple of seasons to sort this mess out because sacking managers every 6 months or less is a big reason we stand in this posistion and this was created years ago not over the last few months.
Let’s just see what January brings and let’s see what Adams does with no excuses without folk trying to guess who signed who
