Just as some want rid of Rupp, or Sparks, or the players.

Of course the success of the club is not just down to one person, with the way the club is going I'd be glad to see the back of everyone currently associated with anything to do with running the club on and off the field.

 

I've answered every question you put to me. But you're blinded by your loyalty to Adams (why, I'm not so sure) that you refuse to accept he needs to take some responsibility for the recruitment.

They gave us permission to speak to him last December. Sparks has gone on record saying that he felt it unfair to remove Trueman and Sellars at the time because of the run they had overseen.

All well and good, but why not just extend their interim period until the summer.

 

Since 1946 we have had different owners they was called chairmen in them days and a board of directors
The Manager looked after the football side
How many have we had ? all have Failed this football club
we have had our promotions followed by relegation followed by more years in the bottom division

The Manager of Bradford city is the same if he is any good he won't be here for long he will be offered a better job (not many are )
Bradford city are where they are because of bad owners & Football managers
We had the scratch cards in the late 70s they where bringing over a thousand pound a week into the club it did not make a difference
The people of Bradford have dug deep in there pockets to save this club I doubt it will happen again
Rupp Sparks &Adams are no different than what's gone before
we are just another club of 72 we may get to the championship in the next 20 years but we will be back in the bottom division even quicker

We are trying to square different circles then. I am saying the vast majority of responsibility was on Turnbull. If Derek was sacked with Turnbull still here that poor recruitment would continue on.

There is no guarantee of success appointing any manager or coach and even less a guarantee of quick success. Even the likes of Pep and Klopp can’t do it without spending millions and improving the squad they inherited. Ultimately the game is about players. Recruitment of players is key.
I would rather have good players than a good coach.Three or four good players could change everything. A change of manager could change nothing.

So Adams knew the players we had when he joined and he must have agreed to the way the players that arrived after he had signed were signed. So he can not wash his hands of it.

 

Other way around. Parky worked under no-one and nothing. The Chief Scout worked under him

To be fair, our good times have outweighed most of the clubs currently in the bottom two leagues, and by some distance In the last 50 years we have had six promotions, two FA Cup Quarter Finals, Two League Cup Quarter Finals, a League Cup Final, Three Play Off Finals, Two Play Off semi finals. Beating top division Arsenal, Villa, Wigan, Norwich, Sunderland, Chelsea, Oxford, Newcastle, Liverpool & Everton in cups whilst we were in leagues often well below them.

Yes, we've had bad times for sure but I'm pretty convinced that many clubs in league one and two would swap places with that kind of history.
