The form of Trueman and Sellars fell off a cliff because the defeat at Newport killed the season. Nothing to play for after what was an amazing run. The players were on the beach after that game mentally.

 

Finding the right manager the fans can buy into is far too simplistic a view. Unless the infrastructure around said manager is completely overhauled, we will be guaranteed to be back here again in 9-12 months time, regardless of who gets the job.

 

I hope Trueman ditches 4-2-3-1 but doubtfull he will, It is an easy system to counter and teams with decent coaches know how to beat it, Sticking with it last time when it had been found out was his downfall last time, I hope he has learnt that

Problem is we over haul the infrastructure around the manager with every change. I think what we need is to get the set up right and find a manager to work in the agreed set up rather than chopping and changing with every manager.

Are we having a fixed scouting team with someone looking for the players or are we allowing the manager to bring their own team in each time?

 

I would hope they are allied to the club not the manager..

 

We would get behind this. If we can see something building, we will support it and be patient.
If Sparks said 'we're not signing anyone over 24 and we're going to build a young team, we'll sell a few on but it's going to take a few years to get there' - I think most fan's would support that.

 

Might not be this season mate, I told Andy after he text me about going to Oldham, Adams has 3 games to show me we are capable of going on a run, unfortunately that has not been the case so I cant see it being this season do let on next time you see me in the Corn Dolly.

 

Relying on a player with a history like Angol's was always a huge gamble and in my view a stupid idea, we did the exact same under Mccall with Novak.

Who knows what the future holds mate, I ain't getting any younger as we've discussed many times our football experience is not always about the football, if you get what I mean, wouldn't it be great to have a day out with the family a secondary reason after the football.

 

They haven't been recently. Adams cleared out the department and brought his own men in. Does this mean they are now going to leave as well?
