    I never understand doing this at this point. If you are going to sack the manager you do it in December and give the new manager a chance to shape the team in January. Now what the person coming in has is a load of players who have just been brought in designed for how Adams wants to play

    How can it be excellent news when it represents a massive mistake from the club - yet again?

    At best it's a relief for those that disliked Adams - but the reality is it shows what a total mess we are.

    How did we end up making such a terrible appointment? And how can we assume anything other than we're about to make yet another?

    I wonder who the fans turn on next if this level of performances continue, Trueman or will Rupp finally be their focus?

    Interesting times ahead. Unfortunately another proven manager fails to work out at VP, and all we are left with is crap and a bill to pay.

    Wonder who’s next through the grinder.

    100 % Simon, and we'll sign a new manager who can't work with those players, too, you can guarantee it.

    We are pathetic.

    Although in this instance, I can't help but feel we couldn't have sacked him before January ended, and there's no point ignoring the fans once they've turned.

    But the fact it's the third season in a row we've pulled this embarrassing crap makes grim reading.

    No he wasn't, the best qualified for the job was a manager who valued youth and could build on Trueman and Sellars work, and not be an absolute, total departure from Stuart.

    It was a mediocre signing from the beginning, but at LEAST he had a record, I suppose.

    We are a terribly run club. This is the fourth departure in 5 years on February, the cynic in me thinks it’s a cost cutting thing. He was allowed to get rid of our club captain, not make a replacement then gets sacked. Just about sums the club up. Still the next mug will be here soon giving the mugs in the stands a new person to chant out.
