Whatever footballing reasons I give, although Derek Adams may agree with them, the experts on here who don't rate Gilliead will not. That's why I reacted the way I did to your smug comment.

It's a football forum, it usually helps if you add your own reasoning to an opinion. It helps stimulate the debate and keeps the forum busy. Obviously not everyone will agree, that's just life but it doesn't make the opinion right or wrong in the same way Adams selecting him doesn't make an opinion right or wrong.

Ditto in general. I said that I rated Gilliead, I didn't say I was happy with his overall contribution. Over the season so far I don't think that I am happy with any of the players overall contribution. Apart from Sutton perhaps, and even he has been hit and miss in an a disappointing season (so far).

However it was very nice of NorthernMonkey to explain to me how a football forum works.

I didn't rate Zesh Rehman either and a few of the un-knowledgeable on here slayed me for that seeing as McCall kept picking him and even made him captain.

Of course, history vindicated me though yet for some reason people like you still think football managers are somehow infallible who never make mistakes with player selection.

Some people rated Stuart as a manager just as some people rate Derek Adams. Having said that which manager has the better record?
It's all about opinions at the end of the day, nobody is totally right, nobody is totally wrong.
You're unlikely to change my opinion on players I rate and players I don't rate and visa versa.

Great player at this level was Johnnie Hall. He was a regular fan after his retirement from the game
