    Had a phone call from a certain well-known individual at the club yesterday and was told that information regarding season tickets and car parking would be announced this weekend. He was checking email addresses etc for contact details

    Jokingly I informed him that I did not want to be considered for the position of Manager / Coach, and was informed that I was the third such person to say that :mad:

    Bradford bulls did it too by offering a membership which they said should be VAT free , the IR said differently and the Bulls folded owing £££ ... again

    A number have tried that same stunt which involved putting the subscription into a trust and arguing that VAT shouldn't apply. One theatre chain even took it as far as the High Court several years ago. The High Court backed HMRC's position that VAT applies equally to subscriptions as it does to ST-like arrangements and 'normal' tickets. It wouldn't stop the subscription being paid into a trust if that's what the theatre/sport club wanted to do but it had no impact on avoiding VAT whatsoever!

    198 quid or the new dreaded monthly subscription service that had a few comparing us to Netflix etc. But it’s just a monthly direct debit plan so not as scary as we were lead to believe.

    can’t argue with price really. League two football and we were garbage in the main last season. Could t have too much of an increase really
