2021/22 Season Tickets (now with poll)

You'd think we'd want the cash up front so we can pump it into a couple of ten million pound signings.

 

If that's the route the club are going down where we're called subscribers rather than season ticket holders to gain tax advantages I'll pay by installments although my preference would be an up front one off payment.

 

No I just think other clubs give a option. Not a subscription model. That’s different

 

Yes the bloody loophole is that you don’t have to stick to the agreed contract price.

So Bradford City could put Inflation costs on, increase their prices and change the T & C’ when they want.

So Bradford City could say it’s £20 per month for example but by month 12 you could be paying 25 per month. Sky and BT take the mick like this.

 

If it gets more revenue into thd club then I'll pay that way, if the club do go that route it needs explaining to fans, until @Jack Daniels quoted it last night I wasn't aware.

 

Surely Bradford City wouldn't do that to their fans and life blood would they.

Sparks used the Amazon Prime as a model and that’s what they do. Increase costs during the contract period. They don’t want people paying up front because they can control price increases when they want.

I’m against this for us because many are just getting sucked into this monthly payment trap and running up expense.

 

The same happened with my monthly phone subscription, I took an 18moth contract out with Vodafone and was told I would only pay £15/ month then 10 months into the contract it increased by 56p and they said refer to our conditions, in the very small print.

 

Amazon prime is not an annual contract it’s an ongoing one and like everything else the prices go up

 

That is what Hull were hoping to do but HMRC quickly shut the idea down.

 

No one is saying the season tickets shouldn’t go up. Put is Bradford City do what Amazon do it’s to control the price and increase when they want too.

 

Most of the companies like Sky. BT and Talktalk have an annual increase built in at 3.5%

 

Of course prices will be reviewed probably every summer

 

If they do anything this season it will only be an option. It’s clear fans will need educating and persuading it’s a good idea first

 

Using Amazon Prime isn’t the best example of companies putting prices up constantly. It has been running for over 15 years in the US and have only changed their price twice, going up from $79 to $119 in that time whilst extending what you get for it

 

Always happy to be educated to understand different options going forward especially if it benefits the club which should ultimately benefit us fans.

 

Like they can do every year with the annual season ticket price anyway. Most subscription contracts only allow for one annual price increase as well. I'm not sure what your point is here as, in effect, nothing will change on that front?

 

£15 a month. That must be a right old brick you are carrying. Does it do texts yet ?

 

Its a Samsung Galaxy A80, it does all I need it to do mate, how do users go through 20/30 GB a month never mind 160 GB for £20.
