Top marks to Mick Shackleton at the club for taking time out today and reserving a parking space on Burlington Street carpark for my dad, a bit pricey at £395, but happy to pay it if it means he can continue to attend, what will be his 87th season!

 

Two brand new newbies from my sister & brother in law who live in Bedford and have decided to travel up for most home matches. Previously only done 2 or 3 home matches and aways within 50 miles.

I hate the term Happy clappers. not all supporters have the same affinity to the club, some are very casual, some live and breath all things Bradford City. It does not mean one has more passion or loyalty to the club than the other.
Some people attend every game , some just the odd game, What matters here is that we all support City and ultimately want the same thing, success on and off the playing field.

 

I'm renewing, supporting the club through thick and thin as we do. Nice to see some tinfoil hats regarding the vaccine too. I for one am looking forward to getting a 5G signal after my 2nd dose.

Seriously though, when you are offered just take the damn vaccine. biggest pandemic in a century and some people STILL make it about themselves. Jesus Wept.

Just watched the video on my lunch break. Come on @Fordy117 that was a bit special. Loved it. Kudos to all who made it happen. Very emotional. As someone said the music is good too.

love the idea and I think that’s how most will feel come august again. Desperate to get back and be in a ground again. This last year has been bland and disconnected but going to games is what it’s all about. As others say @Rogered Tart with your family etc.

 

Any supporter who has been going for 87 years should be given a free season ticket and a parking spot as close to the turnstiles as possible also free of charge, there can't be many who have seen more crap than this poor man

You have to be a serious WUM to think that’s a poor effort when you consider all that the circumstances behind why we could easily have sold less than last season let alone 2 seasons still in league 2 later, plus still time to go.

 

I’m sure it’ll be less than the figure Sparks posted by the 10th, but I still don’t see how it’s poor. That stat is from 2 seasons ago not last season. Two seasons in the basement of 9th and 15th, world pandemic which as effected many if not everyone financially, price increase, no certainty if we’ll get to games even now and 4 seasons of regression. Until all the above is rectified, some is out of the clubs hand tbf, and we have a good season to reverse the decline just expect less and less to renew it’s just natural and would happen at any club.

 

As someone on Twitter pointed out, we've sold more season tickets than the capacity of 16 of the grounds in league 2. Excellent effort.

 

Not sure I'll be renewing either. Football under these two has me questioning the decision already but if there's an announcement its limited capacity and I won't receive what I've paid for (after also paying for this year's ST and only receiving ifollow) then it's probably a case of giving next year a miss and maybe paying in for the odd game if we're doing well and the kids want to go.

 

Exactly what I thought he'd do. And for those losing their shit about paying extra for the privilege it's interest free. Good decisions from the lad Sparks.

 

I contacted the club yesterday morning via the ticketing e-mail given on the website.Due to my daughter realising that boys are more important than City(kids!!!) we are not renewing her season ticket.
I wanted to change a ticket from one row to another in the same block .
I put all the details of what seat I wanted changing and to where.
I sent the e-mail at 10.40am and by 11.15 I had received a reply from a Dean Lamb in the ticket office saying all done and a confirmation email arrived about 5 minutes later with new seat assigned to wife.
Brilliant service.

 

So unless you've had the experimental vaccine it's fine to be completely excluded from anything people like you see fit?

Morally that's a nonsense and legally, I'd imagine it's on very shaky ground.

 

Don't want to come across all happy clapper but that teared me up. Forgot what I'd missed with my lad and set me off.
