    If I had to guess, I'd say there maybe a few staffing/admin issues to sort out as it seems the Club was gearing up for the earlier date.

    The reason for the latest change in the deadline is described by the club as 'due to demand'! Yeah, right.

    I could have sworn that the email I received from the club says that the deadline for existing ST holders was July 6th. Er, yes it does!

    Indeed. A little bit of honesty on a basic error would have been my suggestion. Sometimes, accepting a mistake gains more yardage....

    The silly thing is with the England game playing on Saturday and everyone going silly on the lemonade I can see lots of people who left it to the last minute to renew or buy a season ticket missing with the deadline moved to midday due to sleeping in or too hung over

    I still think this is a bit silly of the club. They contacted everyone personally to say it was the 6th. Then swapped it to the 2nd. The current position is that even though the deadline has been "extended" from the 2nd to the 4th, they are relying on social media to inform people.

    There are a good number who don't use social media who may be blissfully thinking that they can wait until the 6th.

    Why not move it back to the 6th and avoid any possible issues?

    Just had this conversation with a customer at work. Knew nothing of changes and possibly would not have, had I not mentioned it.

    To say he was questioning the integrity of Sparks is being polite...
