In that case I hope you won’t be there. They deserve the chance and the last thing we want is yet another change of manager from the magic roundabout

So unless you've had the experimental vaccine it's fine to be completely excluded from anything people like you see fit?

Morally that's a nonsense and legally, I'd imagine it's on very shaky ground.

Their is a real apathy/disdain towards these passports amongst some. It will divide further and ultimately have an impact on leisure and social activities.

Not everbody wants a vaccine or passport.

Now Park I tend to agree they deserve a crack at next season.

What I don't agree with is your confrontational mentality. You hope @trevor@trevor won't be there!!!

If your message was resonated across the dwindling Bradford City support base as it stands, crikey crowds would be at a 21st century low.

The price, or covid is immaterial in my consideration as to whether to buy a season ticket next season. That decision will be based on what's offered on the pitch. As I couldn't be bothered watching it last night, from the comfort of my living room, as things stand, I shan't be venturing down to VP next season.

I'll gladly pay more to be entertained.

Burton have announced that season tickets from 20/21 can be rolled over to 21/22. Wonder if we are planning on following suit ? :p

If, and it's a big if, some sort of COVID passport is required, then it is likely that it will be based on having had the vaccine, or a recent (last 72 hours negative test) or having had the virus (positive test) in the last 6 months.

It's also likely to be primarily using the NHS app and, whilst it may apply at the start of the season, I don't expect it will last too long into the season.

However, it is these sort of unknowns that is making it very difficult for clubs, including City, to come up with any firm offering.

It will be nowhere as simple as that. We might have the capacity, but so did Wembley and they only let 8,000 in. It's more likely to be an app that needs to be constantly updated with test results (they are talking about amending the NHS Covid app to cater for that). There will be staggered entry, potentially no food & drink, staggered exits and much more.

The 21st June "no restrictions" is pie in the sky aimed to placate the hospitality industry and will work on that small scale but not in large sporting crowds.

I will buy a season ticket in whatever form they are issued, but I hope that iFollow remains an option for cold winter Tuesday nights, and for away games.

If coronavirus impacts on the experience too much then I would probably stay home and watch on the TV for Saturday afternoons as well.

I realise iFollow will probably disappear again when something like normality returns, but that will be a shame.

I'll buy a ticket because its part of my DNA, I can afford to take the risk, I want the club to have the money as a chance to improve and I have a great seat that I wouldn't want to lose having sat in it since the upper kop opened. Whether I actually use it for every home game is a totally different matter.

Why should we, we made it plain that our season ticket included i follow to watch the home games.

And this is EXACTLY the reason I'm hoping ifollow won't be available next season.

It's way too easy to decide it's too cold or too much of a rush or any other excuse you can imagine. Then slowly but surely crowds dwindle, the matchday experience worsens and before you know it either ifollow is propping up those clubs or quite simply they go bust.

Agree entirely. Will buy season tickets for me and wife because it’s our club and it’s what we’ve done for years but I’ve posted previously about it feeling like “a chore” to go to VP at certain times in the recent past.
Really feel that if these 2 stay that feeling will be back.
When people can’t be arsed to watch from the comfort of their own homes then something is seriously wrong.

Fair comment on the wider point - I was referring more to my own personal preference than to the bigger picture.

It is exactly the considerations you mention that have prevented iFollow being a bigger player prior to coronavirus, and I would imagine that when coronavirus is no longer a factor iFollow will stop being widely available. I think it will probably still have a part to play next season though, because whilst there may be a partial return to match attendance I don't think a normal season is on the cards by then.
