That's the point though, you're just giving your point of view and guessing based on what we were told by Rahic. If we ask the question at the meeting then we potentially get a definitive (or even different) answer on what went wrong and what the available options are.

I suspect you are probably right in terms of cost and the willingness of Rupp to invest but if you don't ask ........

 

Fair enough, yes, it's just my opinion, but it's potentially a negative if we end up siphoning money away from the first team.

We shouldn't be using that money on a League Two pitch, nobody else at this level does as far as I'm aware, it's just not financially viable.

We can't claim were the Arsenal Invincibles in need of a pristine hybrid super pitch with perfect drainage.

Even if we had that, our lads will be playing on a bog the following week anyway.

I'd pick my battles, but I know it's going to get raised no matter what, so time for me to drop out of this debate. But these questions are why I have no interest in attending one of these meetings.

 

You can suggest your own questions? It's an open forum and no one persons issues would be discounted out of hand I imagine? Perhaps they'd take priority over the pitch issues if they were deemed important enough?

 

The pitch is back to what it was a couple of years ago. Just a thought the club is situated only a few miles for one of the leading sport ground research and development companies in the country is there a possibility of some sponsorship deal which could benefit both parties

How long does the current radio leeds commentary deal run for? There have been away games this year that people have been unable to listen to due to us being shunted on the AM/MW frequency. Are we going to have to travel back to 1980 to find a non digital radio or Can a deal be struck to perhaps get us onto BCB radio to recieve coverage from them?

 

I can't remember I just recall a few posts about the roof of the stand.

Tranmere Rogers have provided the above update in regards to the pitch that has caused them to postpone the fa cup replay tonight. For anyone that cares.
Not difficult to put something like that together from the club?

Didnt rochdale do this last year when they got a cup replay? Got them a free pitch from the FA as another delay would have buggered the fixture list up
