I'm particularly drawn to the fact that circa 300 extra ST/Flexi were sold on the back of the Liverpool game. Very positive news.
Moreover, the statement by Jason... and it is to the club’s credit that they are prepared to meet and engage with fans media groups. No question went unanswered, and this greater level of transparency is valued. Again positive news.
Stepping stones. But the direction is correct.

You clearly are not happy with the way the club is being run to raise the questions. So ask them yourself and then you can rest easy your points have been adequately put across and you can hear at first hand the responses. Being there also allows you to respond to answers and form a constructive dialogue, Which I assume you would welcome.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Its patently obvious from the write up of that meeting, that we have no real strategy to take this club forward. No long term outlook and financial plan to get us there. Everything is reactionary and based on hope - 'lets try and get us back to where we were in League 1 and go from there'.
We're run by people who I don't doubt want the best for us. But they clearly lack the capability and means/will to drive this club forward. The ground, training facilities, pitch, scouting, recruitment, coaching staff, hospitality and commercial operation. No joined up plan for what will take this club forward over the next 5-10 years. Not spending on essential pitch maintenance unless we benefit from sell on clauses. Only being able to recall Europe's most prolific striker (and then wasting him) by betting against future sell on clauses - that's where we're at.
If we don't go up this season, I can see us lingering down here for a number of years. We're drifting in the football wilderness.
Unless we take on new owners who have the finance, ambition and capability to take this club forward properly, we're going nowhere.

And let me end with an open offer to one particular fans media group. The Cows Arse – you are 100% invited to the next meeting. The club confirmed they would love to hear and answer your questions.
A good write up by Jason and thanks for the efforts @BigrodOnside, Botswana Bantam, BoingBoing and 2 others like this. -
Thanks for C&P the article @bantamdave41
I hope that @bantam2708 @The Original EB and @BoingBoing are happy with the summary that Jason has put together.
One thing the club is not going to do, as l understand it, is to clarify the potential number of away tickets that are going to be available. They often receive them in batches.
The issue about the number of tickets for Grimsby was discussed. It was confirmed that the figure was around 1850. I pointed out the comment in the ‘Football Grounds Guide’, ‘For teams with a larger following then the whole of the stand can be given to away fans increasing the allocation to 2,200.’ https://www.footballgroundguide.com/leagues/england/league-two/blundell-park-grimsby-town.html#awhat-is-it-like-for-visiting-supporters It was suggested that the Police may have requested that there are segregation areas, which reduces the capacity. Additionally the kick off time being brought forward may well be a Police based decision.
There was a discussion about the need to reduce the number of Away Tickets for City supporters. This was a factor that arose given the behaviour of some City fans, at venues like Rochdale, where missiles and flares were thrown at opposition fans. This behaviour then leads to advice being given to clubs to increase the segregation zones, which reduces the seats available!!
City currently have about 850 seats available for away fans in the Midland Road stand and will not open the Dallas Stand unless there were huge demand, as there are all the additional costs.
I also raised the issue about the use of the Screen, some problems arose because of the technological misfit with the Liverpool Media engineers system, which will hopefully have been resolved. In respect of goal replays again this is an EFL issue and out-with City’s control. I asked if highlights of the last away game could be shown and also some ‘heritage’ footage of past seasons goals.
I am sure @Jason McKeown will add/correct anything if my recollection is wrong.
Hope that helps.Botswana Bantam, The Original EB, bantam2708 and 2 others like this. -
Alternatively you could attend the open event on Thursday and raise your points in person. Cut through the crap if you will!
‘Fans forums are being taken on the road, being held over the coming months.
The events are open to all supporters wishing to attend. They will get underway from 7.00pm and will be completely free of charge’. https://www.bradfordcityfc.co.uk/news/2019/june/city-to-take-fans-forums-on-the-road/

"Media group" lends into my question if someone wouldnt mind raising it..
How long does the current radio leeds commentary deal run for? There have been away games this year that people have been unable to listen to due to us being shunted on the AM/MW frequency. Are we going to have to travel back to 1980 to find a non digital radio or Can a deal be struck to perhaps get us onto BCB radio to recieve coverage from them?ahar964, Pineapple Salesman, Bronco and 2 others like this. -

MY great thanks go to @Jason McKeown from WOAP, who has delivered a good account of the meeting.
The LARGEST disappointment is not ONE individual from BT put them selves forward !!
I read the constant daily drivel on this Forum, but from all the critics, not ONE wanted a stage to stand upon !
WHERE THE F£CK ARE YOU ALL NOW ??....
Had I been fit and able to travel, MY name would have been the first (the only one ?) on the list.
WHY, oh why does this forum have SO, SO many moaners, yet they can't be arsed to attend a 'local meeting' ? 'Cos they're full of hot air and schitt - that's why .............. OK with you @Fordy117 ????
Why expect Bowyer to deliver, when 'supporters' can't be 'bovered' ? Shame on us all.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...River_City_Bantam, WilsdenBantam, Bronco and 1 other person like this. -

What's the point of these fan meetings? They seem nothing more than a means of placating the easily led masses with lazy PR.
Say what you will about TCA, but they have their finger on the pulse and if they were invited, you might get some proper bloody questions answered about the direction and viability of this club.Stop hovering to collapse... Did you personally ask Bowyer any questions?
You do not have to attend the Media meeting.
Not sure what there is to get excited about?

Much of the questions on the evening came from Bantams Talk message board users, which Rod had coordinated to bring up. This included criticism over the fact the club’s iFollow commentary and highlights packages hadn’t worked over the weekend, which Ryan explained was not Radio Leeds’ fault, but due to some issues at the Football League end which will be rectified.
