I'm not sure the answer we got regarding the scoreboard/big screen rings true.

It can't simply be an EFL issue, most clubs with that facility show games as they happen without the obvious contentious video replays etc. We showed replays last year albeit they looked like they were recorded via camera phone but it was better than nothing.

I'm sure it's probably likely we either can't afford or are unwilling to pay for licencing rights. Surely we should be able to knock up an old goals montage or an historic blast from the past. Anything's better than them bloody mamma Mia and Dubrovnik hotel adverts on repeat

I can't ever remember Julian attending any meeting, I don't think he attended the second admin meeting, but I do remember his dad not being happy with some of the comments coming from the creditors gathered and told them in no uncertain terms he had just put the family home up as collateral.

Hi there is another fans media meeting scheduled for 20/1/2020, to be held in the Keighley area. This has been arranged by WOAP @Jason McKeown@Jason McKeown

It is an opportunity to meet with other City fans and a club representative, to discuss developments at City. Anyone interested in attending, PM me and I will send further details.

As in the past, it may well be a good idea if BT members, who wish to raise issues, prepare a list below, perhaps with some detail. It would assist those present, to have a good understanding of City related points, from this forums perspective. Anyone going from BT should be prepared to talk about the matters raised.

The pitch - what is the issue with it? Will it ever be fixed? Can we promise to not cut corners on it with some of the mcburnie money perhaps?

    Crikey, really?

Didn't the Bradford City Horticultural Society already discuss this when a majority vote was cast on pitch over players?

The pitch is going to need relaying from time to time unless we move stadium.

Does that mean we can’t discuss it ever again?
Relaying it will not fix it

We did re-lay it, presumably at a relatively high cost and it's lasted for about 4 months.

Don't you see that as an issue worth addressing?

Seems reasonable to me, to talk about it. I understand that Rahic went for the cheapest option in 2017, according to @wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler . So is it a situation where you have to go back to square one or can you develop on the work that was undertaken. If the drainage/foundations would all need relaid then we would be ‘starting again’. How much is related to being in the ‘shadow’ of the Main Stand. Would replacing some of the roof panels with transparent units which could provide more of a greenhouse effect: be workable/cost effective?

Would solar panels on the Sunwin generate enough electric to run those lamps ?.

I may be wrong but I think this was suggested some time back and the feeling was that the roof wouldn't be able to carry the weight. May be completely wrong but I thought it had been discussed.

I can understand that the actual existing roofing panels, in themselves may not be able to weight bear. However there appears to be a substantial amount of steel framework. I’ve essence if the solar panels were secured to the steel framework rather than the old panels, then surely they could hold the weight. I accept that the slope of the roof and facing East, may not get as much sunlight, but it is actually daylight which apparently charges the solar cells.
However the front of the stand has a large amount of steel framework, is west facing, which may be able to secure Solar Panels and also existing cladding which perhaps could be utilised for locating solar panels!

Update from the supporters board meeting in November
"8c. Fanzone Update – This remains in the planning process but does continue to be persued. With permissions required, it is expected that a Junior Fanzone will be trialed in April 2020 with a view to broadening this out."

wonder if there is a reason the transparent panels stop 2/3s of way down the stand?

I see it as an issue that, should we prioritise it, will eat up a massive amount of money.

I assume the wrist-wringers will accept that, and should they push this agenda realise the consequences in terms of competitiveness on the field.

Oh, unless Rupp is going to throw money at it. I'm not really getting that vibe.
