Yet some are still in denial of the holocaust, although there are very few survivors of that terrible era you can understand why they will never let anything near that repeat itself.
Many years ago mum worked as a house keeper for Doctor Keaden our doctor who was Jewish as well as mum they employed a nanny Olga who was German and although it was just over 20 years after the end of WW2 she was in total denial it happend, saying no humans could be that cruel.

As this government don't seem interested with regards the remarks made by the Met officer about someone being "openly Jewish" the Labour party are at least showing interest and looking into it, another own goal Sunak ?.

Shadow justice secretary Shabana Mahmood says she is “deeply concerned” after an officer described an antisemitism campaigner as "openly Jewish" at a demonstration in London.

The same guy who had Tommy Robinson arrested for doing the same thing he's doing in the video. Blokes an idiot just trying to get a rise out of the police officer.

    Speaking of which.....

Tommy Robinson wins his appeal against his arrest by the Met Police. Whatever you think of his views or the person himself, what the Met did to him was an absolute disgrace, they literally make it up as they go along. I would say the position of Mark Rowley as head of the Metropolitan police is now untenable and should resign forthwith.

The Met are at it again today with their two tiered policing, wading into St George's day celebrations with assertions of 'far right mobs gathering'.

    Disgraceful.

This policing miners strike style. Deliberately targeting people to gauge a reaction for the media to run with a narrative to try and cover up the corruption within the Met. I thought we weren't allowed to call them police forces anymore? Well thats exactly what this is, a show of force because no one has any belief of them as a fair policing unit anymore. The difference in how they deal with protests in the capital, usually with anything linked to nationalism or football is a disgrace.

Just seen it has cost the Met almost £40m to police the dozen or so large scale protests so far regarding the war in Gaza. Surely at some point organisers of protests should be made to pay for the extra policing required just like organisers of other events that require extra police. It can not be fair that the tax payers of London have to foot the bill to police the demos.

edit - and just to be clear this would go for all protests/demonstrations.

I am at degree level thank you very much. Given 50% of the population weren't born then. Why should they be punished?

See Labour lost Oldham where the standing councilor said "In some parts of the borough it’s the Gaza issue that may lose them the seat.”
I'm sure Netanyahu won't lose any sleep but maybe we should, religion becoming a part of politics, wake up.

Looks like Israel are going to finish the job with regards Hamas :
Israel has ordered an estimated 100,000 Palestinians to leave the eastern part of Rafah, the last-standing city in the Gaza Strip, amid fears that an upcoming IDF offensive against the city could end in a massacre of civilians. The IDF ordered Gazan civilians to leave part of Rafah and go to Muwasi, an Israeli-declared humanitarian area near the coast, in preparation for the offensive this morning, and thousands were seen leaving in droves.

An interesting view against the media narrative by a very unlikely source.

Good for Israel I say, hope they manage to root all the evil Hamas terrorists out. Good to see they have given warning too to the innocent civilians

Apparently Hamas have agreed to a cease fire brokered by Egypt and Qatar but nothing with regard any acceptance from Israel as yet, the proposal is for Hamas to release 33 hostages from the humanitarian category although its suggested Hamas have 132 hostages (not sure Hamas know what it is) that is women, children, elderly people with serious medical conditions, no mention of males, in return Hamas would agree to a 40 day cease fire upon the release of thousands of Palestinian prisoners, will Israel agree to this it seems to be very loaded in Hamas favour, but the cease fire has not been agreed by the political wing of Hamas but not by Yahya Sinwar the Hamas chief in Gaza the man who's believed to be the ultimate decision maker in these deals.
Hamas agreed to latest Israeli proposal, says official briefed on talks (msn.com)

I lived in the Middle East for ten years.

Most of my Arab friends did not support Palestine.

Syrians, Lebanese and Jordanians are, in essence Palestiams.
