    It is if he gets it right, the job of every budding manager I guess. I think the team will start to pick itself as we get into the season as players start to fit positions.

    Quite a conundrum. Our three most effective players so far have been Walker, Pattison ( quieter today)and Osadebe. Can we play with 12? Lol

    Lewis was solid. We can’t afford to lose him.

    pointon impressed me - first time I’ve seen him but that left slot could be his if he plays like that for longer vs Boro? Seemed confident in himself and put through some lovely balls for his teammates to cross in. Wasnt afraid to run at oppo - we need more of that.

    hughes will soon stifle that creative talent, lol, but he looks exciting for now!

    Thats true. A commundrum. McDonald to consider as well when he ia fully fit.

    We could potentially see McDonald, Chapman and Walker sitting on the bench. A nice problem to have when suspensions, injuries and form are considered. Pointon another....

    That said I think Walker starts from the off.

    In my opinion Walker has to play in the centre of midfield or not at all. Having him stuck out on the left hand side of midfield meant he was hardly in the game.

    I agree, he was completely ineffective out wide and what he did do was largely negative, passing back instead of driving forward on at least three occasions yesterday.

    He was very effective when he came inside in all three games. Yes left isn’t the answer. I hope we don’t get into the conundrum where it’s either Pattinson or Walker. The team demands both of them.

    For me those two and Osadebe have been the best three on show. That’s an even larger conundrum.!
