Until we get a favoured eleven playing together, it will be hard to assess fully.

We've got a number of players still trying to get used to each other and we seem to be flexing formations a bit as well as personnel.

 

Neither will Hull for long if that’s their full squad

 

Two errors from memory .

 

Not seen any of today's game, but I was impressed with his other performances at Bury and in Spain.

Very early days, but hopefully we have a good local young gem on our hands there

 

Because he plays for 6 minutes and gets a double leg fracture. Did you miss it then?

 

I’d worry if he worked for me Dave . Crass beyond belief.

 

Funny how you can tell who the contributor is without even looking at the name . Same old same old. Perhaps one’s avatar is a miscarriage of the English language ?

 

Wing backs are essential to playing 352. It seems we’re ok at RWB but not convinced about LWB.

 

On that logic neither will Stockport. They lost 0-4 to the dog botherers today.

 

We played two up front first half and almost certainly will be as standard through the season so I'm not even sure what you're getting yourself worked up about

 

Not great defending from him at times, got turned easily.

 

I was impressed by their 14+20. Both good solid players who caused us real problems. The difference was when they broke it was three passes and they were in sight of goal.

What I did notice is that at throw ins we were much quicker to take them.

Apart from that Pointon looked a real danger and I hope he gets some first team starts as he is very direct and isn't afraid to shoot.

A good workout and more minutes into the legs.

 

It's context and a justified reason as to why he wasn't at his best. Anyone being overly harsh on him based on last season need to pause and think about that.

 

Yes twice. The young lad he was up against was their most effective player . Vaughn?

 

And pray we don't let him slip through our fingers by not giving him first team appearances .....

Oy Gillead had a shot on goal today. Up by Xmas.

Seriously Pattinson and Pointon and a fully fit Walker will surely add goals and if our defenders contribute more than last season then we will be pushing I am sure. Osadebe look tricky as well in spells.

Oyegoke had a few misplaced passes but brought the ball out of defence well on occasions and started a few attacks.

Lot's to be positive about.
