    Please enlighten us
I agree so long as everyone gets the chance to renew their existing seats. If they think it’s too expensive to sit right behind the dugouts then they’ll have to move.
But this said, how would they enforce the tiered pricing in a half empty stadium. You could simply buy the cheapest seats and then go sit in empty premium seats. What’s to stop you?

suppose the only thing to stop you is if you happen to sit on someone else’s seat.

Matches on ifollow might not be an option (in the UK at least) when the ground opens back up....

I'd agree to pay £250 for just an away Ifollow pass, and it might be something worth thinking about.
No one knows how long social distancing will remain in place even after the vacine roll out, therefore there is a possibility stadiums may be only available to home fans next season, in which case an away ifollow pass could be a solution.
priced at £250 would represent good value to anyone who regularly forks out the best part of £100 for an away trip.

You are wide of the mark by far, we have bodged it forever, it just got worse after a certain fishy director threatened to sue parky over his remarks

edin spent fa following year he left it was coppers, only the ££ involved has prevented it being sorted- ask the groundman

I dont think so. Just compare the pitch now to 3 years ago.

    Not entirely true.

Whilst the pitch isn’t perfect, it has seen some major development in recent years. The drainage system was repaired where appropriate, replaced where it needed replacing. The lateral and secondary slit drainage system was installed - along with fibre sand in 2018. Just to be clear, this wasn’t a cheap fix.

Please remember, the pitch was relayed only in May last year. Again, a six-figure sum was spent.

As mentioned, unless we commit to digging 15 feet and ripping everything out that is currently underneath the pitch, ensuring the foundations are replaced, scrap the new drainage system that was only put in 2 years ago, look at the possibility of installing under soil heating and then relay pitch - amongst other things - then the pitch is never going to be perfect - and even then it might not be. The reality is, this work would cost millions. If you have a spare couple of million, please drop me a private message and I will happily point you in the right direction.

And remove the giant piece of rock that apparently sits ten feet down in front of the main stand.

there will probably be a slight increase in ST prices at most clubs as they will all be in the same boat and desperate for any revenue possible

Clubs will have to be careful though when considering increases. I cannot see fans being allowed in by August for example.

Very testing times ahead for football clubs

You'd think so, can't keep up this lockdown pretence forever. Sooner or later the entertainment industry has to be allowed to reopen in stages. In other parts of the world crowds are allowed back in reduced numbers, no point in us vaccinating large sections of society if it doesn't mean a partial return to normality.
