I think the overall price needs to increase, bit if a no brainer really, the bit I don't understand is tiered pricing for the seats.
There isn't really a bad view from any if the seats except maybe the Bradford end so I'm not sure how that would work.
I sit in the kop upper, I don't want to sit in the main stand as I don't like the view from there and the seats are a bit more restrictive. The view from the midland road is great untill you can't see a thing with the sun in your eyes, but again I actually like watching from behind the goal. So which seats would we say are prime seats that we.charge more for?

Block E is an horrendous view and we have to sit next to all those noisy away fans celebrating and singing all the time.

That block should definitely be the cheapest block in the whole ground.

I'm guessing any seats that are a bit more protected from the elements.

So it's a premium seat if it keeps you dry, I get it but that counts out most of the kop both lower and upper tier then.

I guess those of us who have bought a Season Ticket this season have put money in to keep the club going.

Fair play to all those who did.

I guess I did my bit the previous 50 odd years I bought a season ticket and raised money for the club during dark days of administrations etc

Why do you have to pay a premium to get better seats, there are seats available where we sit at £149 and have been for many years.
The nearest I've seen to anything like fast tracking is when you pre-pay in the suite for your drinks and tell the bar staff which table you'll be sitting at, then they don't always get it right.
I wouldn't have problem with £200 for a season ticket but once again we don't know when we will be allowed back into stadiums watching games for half a season or more won't be an option for some, as many have said it's a poor substitution for live football. .
It will be interesting to see if Ryan with Stefan's blessing goes for an increase in season ticket prices as previously it has always been about filling the ground rather than price increases, after the year we've all had it will be a brave move to stick £50 or more on the current price IMO.

Again Fair Play. However although I love memories, I also enjoy the here and now. For the club to carry on and go forward, we need as many people on board. I hope you will return for next season.

Increasing prices for anyone next season would be suicidal madness by the club.

I will be buying one this summer as I reckon we will at least see some part of next season, hopefully a big chunk of it. However because of the uncertainty still, it would not be the right time to increase the prices.

No need for the club to 'reward' for those whom purchased season tickets.

We all knew the risks, even as the impact of covid19 was being felt.

Club already said thanks when closing sales. That will do for me.

I think if we are going to do it it would be best to do it whilst we are in the bottom league

If the club had a budget of over £2.5 million last season, yet the introduction of the EFL salary cap is £1.5 million, then I really would question the need to increase Season Ticket prices at present. Perhaps if we were going into League 1 and the cap was £2.5 once again, there could be some justification for a modest increase. If the stadium was our own, then you could see the benefits going into an upgrade over and above the maintenance style work that takes place now, then fine, but otherwise I see no pressing need.

There lies the problem zero ambition
Invest in training scouting physio sports science, - this attitude holds us back - league 2 forever merchants

We already have training, sports science and scouting?

How much more can you spend on it?

Apart from building our own ground/training facilities then there is a limit how much we can spend.

The cost of a new ground is immense and beyond the scope of a ticket price increase (Brentford=£71 million, Peterborough=£40 million, Wimbledon=£32 million).

Perhaps you can give some indication on the costs and practically of ‘investing’ in the three areas you highlighted and why an increase in season Ticket Price is necessary as we could have a playing budget in excess of £2.5 million on the current Season Ticket prices.

For the avoidance of confusion, on a personal level I am happy to see a modest increase in Season Ticket prices, but only if there is going to be a tangible improvement.

Not really. If we can sustain a £2.5 million budget on the current income, but can only spend £1.5 million then we have that excess to invest in what you suggest.

With a salary cap in place and the general costings of running a football club, a lot of which some seem to either not know about or disregard, how would we stand finance wise from an average turnover? If the salary spend is 1.5 million, what is left in the pot so to speak? Does Rupp need money to service his loans? And as for limit as to what we can spend, is there a fixed amount we are allowed to spend regarding off the field matters? Curious as i don't know.

I reckon that the salary cap is purely tied to the players.

If we owned our ground, then there may well be some merit in undertaking more than just maintenance work.

There perhaps needs to be either an increase in the salary cap, or a fresh formula, based on income/expenditure (remember we pay a very hefty figure for the rent of Valley Parade, which is probably disproportionate, but within our budget).

your opening sentence, do you think this cant be improved on massively

why not want better facilities and our own,

we could spend proper money on yhe pitch

or forever its not our ground why bother

10/20 year plan why the hell not imagine a new ground or rebuild of vp

if we dropped to non league we could have cheaper season tickets
