It's getting to that time of year, what's everyone's thoughts on how these will be pitched?

I'm not sure how many have been sold this season, but it is looking increasingly unlikely that 20/21 ST holders will see a live game this season. I appreciate that we have been entitled to an iFollow pass for home games but as someone who bought a couple of tickets for my household, I could quite easily got away with just buying one.

Don't get me wrong, I am not moaning as I personally wanted to buy as normal in order for the club to maintain its previous cashflow, I just think there should be some recognition for those who continued to financially support the club.

My thoughts would be to keep prices the same but offer 20/21 a large discount at club shop, maybe even 50% off a replica shirt or club merchandise. I think a few will be expecting a discounted ST for 21/22 though which I honestly cannot see happening.

I think sales will just naturally drop, as they will likely do across most of the clubs, as there's no point spending £600-800 for duplicated passes for those living in the same household. It puts clubs in a difficult position as although they would like to be marketing tickets now in the new year, we are all at the mercy at the success of the vaccine roll out aren't we. We need it to be a success and we need restrictions to ease before we know we can get back to the matches.

Maybe it isn't going to be until later in the summer that clubs will release full ST details - mitigating circumstances this year and all. I think fans were prepared to buy STs to support their clubs this year - some households spending £600-800 etc even though they only needed one Ifollow pass - but next year I can't see many being prepared to do the same.

I bought a couple this season due to helping keep money coming in but I'll only buy again if there is a guarantee of spectators being allowed in the grounds. Not paying to sit at home and watch football, it's shite.

Think it’s time to end the 25 year ticket millstone & bring ticket prices inline with other clubs. Cheap tickets are an excuse not to invest in the club’s infrastructure.

“SECURE YOUR SEAT TO SEE THE RETURN OF LIVE FOOTBALL TO THE INTERSONIC STADIUM”. Or along those lines.

How does this work though if restrictions are still in place but are likely to be relaxed in say 2022 - would you not buy until you are 100% certain?

No I wouldn’t not again . Whilst I realise it’s not the clubs fault any of this am still not having any more money down on season tickets until I am guaranteed to go . The clubs not a charity it’s run by a millionaire . He can pay for it this time. Am not having £275 (2013 ST) down again for nothing .

Not saying a start of alignment with other league two clubs would be a bad thing but it would be a big call after 2020 and everything that year involved, from £150 to possibly £250.

The 25 year millstone as you call it is a difference of just £25 to the club. We get access to the suite after paying £125 but its no detriment to the club finances.

I paid £125 instead of £150 for my season ticket so it’s hardly costing the club a fortune isn’t it?

Hardly a millstone is it ? It cost the club £25,000 a season (and reduces every year as a small percentage die) which is a small price to pay to those of us who stuck our necks out to support the club and lost £2,250.

The bigger millstone is the cheap overall price, which I would be happy to pay, but the discount to the most loyal of supporters must remain.

I think Season Ticket prices will always remain low unless something drastic happened. If we went up to £300 we'd probably pull 6500 tops especially with the whole Covid-19 scenario where live games aren't a given.

We aren't a loyal fan base, we run on pure greed and success. Hence ST's dipped from 18.5k to 9k within a few seasons.

Be a good PR move of the owner to say if you backed us this season when you saw no football we will give you a season ticket for say 100 quid as a thank you for backing us?

I get they are cheap as chips but you’ve paid money for something which isn’t even a possibility currently

I'm not sure people in the current climate and situation are really up for paying any more for STs. Our season ticket sales top out the salary cap and leave surplus, the time to move the STs when we actually producing something good on the pitch.

I don't think we'll see an increase in the next few years at least.

    Spot on !!!
Anyone paying for beer they are not allowed to drink to keep the "pub door" open ??
Just to clarify Mr Rupp is reported to be a "multi" millionaire as you say ultimately the club stands or falls by his decisions not ours

At least for ourselves we are getting some value for money still. It would cost £230 to watch all the home games on ifollow so we still get an £80 saving (I know many like myself though who might've forked out for multiple STs but are in the same household).
Nearly every other club in this league and above are paying far more than £230 for a ST when they could've just done PAYG on iFollow instead. Sure there will be a few angry fans out there about it

Also the club gain as one of my sons wasn’t interested enough at the time to get a 25 year ticket, but he now comes regularly and pays the extra £125 for the suite on top of his season ticket price which he wouldn’t have done had I not got the suite access. I know another few people who bought the 25 year tickets and they now come with friends who have upgraded.

You can't put this season ticket sales into the the debate, 8,000 is a great effort when we didn't know the situation going forward, without doubt our cheap ticket get us big home attendances, I believe we got 14,000 in Rahic's last season at the club.
