What a load of nonsense . No one is forcing you to have a car and no one if forcing you to have a season ticket . I bought a season ticket last season thinking I might have a chance of some live football , as we can all gather that isn’t going to happen that’s fine . But am not buying next season till I no that I can definitely attend . The token gesture of ifollow is all well and good but I bought a season ticket not to sit on the couch and watch it and until I no if I can attend or not I won’t be bothering . Enjoy your BMW

Why are fans who got part of their 25 years season ticket cost back "mill stones" the club got their money in full, anyone who paid by credit card got some of their purchase back, so the club lost no money.

Those who got their money back (in full) are taking the discount whilst benefitting from having got a refund. Maybe not a millstone, but those who got a full refund should have done the decent thing and not taken the discount offered by the club.

Lets say 300 got full refunds at £25 a year that's £150,000 (combined) they have taken from the club who only provide the discount to compensate the loss. A loss they haven't made.

I like the idea of being in pocket, but I would hope that had I got my outlay back in full I wouldn't have renewed in subsequent years as a 25 Yearer.

I would suggest no one got their money in full back, as we had already played some games which would then be subtracted from the original £2500.
But the club got the full £2500 from fans who paid by credit card, so lost no revenue.

True but some of that money could have gone to creditors. Many small businesses lost a. Lot of money

Not sure that was the 25 yearers fault, they purchased the 25 year tickets in good faith and the club let hundreds of the 25 yearer's down who had paid by cheque, I believe under the 1st admin the club honoured the tickets but during the second admin some creditors said if they were only getting a very small return on what they were owed the 25 year ticket holders had to be treated the same, yes I remember outstanding monies being owed to the likes of St Johns Ambulance Brigade, and by the sounds of it your good self.

We have to increase the season ticket cost from the £6.52 per game , as it stands , at some point.
Its cheaper than watching some non league football.(Some may argue we are watching non league ).
i am just not sure this is the right time.
Going forward beyond next season , i would increase to £175, approx another £1 per game. 10000 ticket holders is an extra £230,000 less tax.The same again the year after, up to £200. £8.69 per game for season 23- 24. Announce the policy now so people are aware. We as fans cannot expect the club to progress , whilst paying non league prices.

Ok, so we went bust a season into it. Lets say those who got a full refund got 24/25th back (though having some knowledge of the way a section 75 refund works I doubt the credit card company would, or even could, apportion a "used" amount) then they would have got £2,400 back.

If those people then take the £25 discount for the next 24 years they are still £600 "better off" at the expense of the club, though from memory the period before admin one & admin two was a 25% discount from the full price so they benefited even more.

Either way, those who got more or less a full refund and have still taken the discount from the club are being ever so slightly disingenuous because they lost nothing.

Many took the clubs option of an upgrade into the Sunwin, I believe to do that you had to purchase the facilities of one of the suites but I could be wrong, as some have posted they pay around £25 less overall that a fan who buys a season ticket annually, now bearing in mind many of those lost all the £2500 they paid the club they are still paying more than the average Bradford City fan who gets a season ticket at £150.
I'm sure any 25 year season ticket holder who feels he's a drag on the club could tell Ryan I don't want the club to honour my ticket going forward and pay for their season ticket and a suite upgrade annually.
If it goes to the end of the 25 years I believe it will finish in 2026 as at the time I said I'd be 79 years old by the end by the end of its term.

With regards the section 75 I can assure you they took the price per game at the time I believe around £25 per game whereas with the 25 year ticket it worked less than £5 per game

I believe most people, who claimed back from their credit card companies, got just short of £2,000 back. Many of those will have spent more than that on their season ticket in subsequent seasons so, based on the deal they signed up for, they are already running at a loss.

I am aware of one person who successfully claimed over £3,000 back from their credit card company, as they were able to successfully claim for future losses, based on the season ticket price at the time they made their claim.

Very true, I know of one fan who got an offer far less than the £2,000 you mentioned and it was going too and fro until a member on C&B told him to send a letter to the credit card company saying the courts had already set a precedent on paying out a Bradford City fan, and if they did not respond with a better offer said fan would take the credit card company to court, needless to say he got a better offer and as you say around £2,000.

No it wasn’t there fault but they were creditors just the same. Some people struggled to keep their business going People who were refunded were quid in.
I personally have no problem whatsoever with whatever benefits are still being payed but some who were hit a lot harder than me might have

I'd suggest most people who use CC know over a certain amount you can claim money back from your CC company if things go wrong as it did at Valley Parade.

Yes with regards business's and what they were owed money wise it must have taken the club a while to get those business back onside if they ever did get back onside.

As I understand it the first was bad enough but the second admin was shameful and there was no need for a second admin hence the Gibb Rhodes fall out.

Hopefully, before the start of the new season all those wanting a vaccine will have been given one and restrictions would have been lifted. We won’t know how long the vaccine lasts but we can only hope things return to as near normal as possible. It’ll be our decision whether we feel comfortable to return in large crowds or not.

Also, who told you the vaccine doesn’t stop transmission when the scientists don’t know themselves?

I think that’s because the mortality rates are much lower in this age group.

In fact Mr Whitty has just said those under 50 with underlying issues will also be vaccinated.
