With Doyle back I'm not sure Shay is going to get much game time. Might he leave either on a perm or loan?

 

Doubt he would of game time either way.

Donaldson back soon enough and he struggled to get in front of Oteh.

Yeah... apart from free kick he's struggled.

Offer comes in I would let him go.. Cooke, Devitt can pay as a 10 if needed

 

McCarten gets loaned to Swindon to shut them up and then he scores 23 on the bounce

 

I think we will keep Taylor. He’s a steady squad player. Bowyer obviously rates him and the lad could not play for another team this season if we release him.

 

Yeh, no issues if Taylor stays until the summer. He is useful enough as a squad player and can adapt to various positions.

There are 3/4 MF's I would be looking to rid us of before Taylor anyway. Akpan and Anderson for certain. I don't mind Devine but general consensus is he can go. I am not sure how the squad accommodates the 3 loanees of Cook - Devitt and Palmer either - especially when we have quite a few contracted players who can operate in the middle. I think one of those possibly gets sent back.

 

As has been said we have ample numbers for midfield but maybe could do with strengthening elsewhere. For the last two games, IMO, Reeves has been below par and has been substituted on both occasions leaving other midfielders on the pitch. I am presuming he is one of our top wage earners so what if we retained those loanees and let him go for a few quid and saved his wages? He is out of contract at the end of the year and who knows whether he wishes to stay up north or return to a southern based club.

We need to trim the fat, especially in midfield though. 3/4 can go for me...

 

Whats happened to Longridge or whatever he's called? The fact that i can't even remember his name, means that he should leave the club

Tyler French plus a few of the other lads breaking into the first team should be sent out on loan. The rest - Akpan, Anderson, Devine, McCarten should be sold. Let Patrick join Wrexham on a free. I'd send Matty Palmer back and try and keep Cooke. Not sure about Pritchard. Started off well, but has gone off the boil a lot. Devit probably a better option. Oteh stays despite Doyle coming back, cos you never know with Donaldson and Vaughan.

 

Pritchard is our player - he isn't going anywhere.

Apparently it's a fake account. I'd like us to sign Yates permanently if it was an option. Rotherham have lots of strikers above him. It would be a good striker to have for a few years.

 

Akpan first for me. Imagine he’s on good money

 

Akpan Anderson should free up enough cash to cover the Doyle deficit I would imagine. Weird player Akpan shown flashes of being a useful player but so inconsistent to the point it's more poor games than positive ones. He won't be missed.

 

Which is why if we do release him or send him out we will be paying a good chunk of his wages

Got a bit more about him than Palmer...
