    It's not even different formations that the problem. Again it's like Jose at United. Jose tried different formations but those formations didn't come with style changes so he was still asking the players to do the same jobs that they weren't suited for. Hopkins was the same, he would tweak formations but apart from that short spell where he had success, it was hoofball no matter what. Even at City's level players should be adaptable enough to deal with some formation changes but asking them to play in a manner where they don't have the required skills is always likely to fail especially with older players (It's easier to retrain youth players although even then a 17-year-old Doyle is never going to become a target man no matter how much training you do, he just doesn't have the physicality)

    I would think Stefan is as shocked as us fans, but I agree totaly he is supposed to be coming over in the near future, some sort of statement from Stefan would hopefully allay many fans concerns.
    I bet he wish's he'd never heard of Edin Rahic.

    Bang on the money. Its gonna take a few years to repair this damage. Hopkin leaving must leave even the last remaining thoroughly nice chaps under no illusion this club is broken from top to bottom. To do it in such a short space of time actually takes some doing, its quite depressing that all that hard work since Parkinson took over has been all for nothing apart from memories.
    Those that are just happy to have a club to support may be lucky to have that when this mess finally reaches rock bottom.

    Worrying times to be a Bradford fan.

    We're having this conversation every x number of months when another manager bites the dust though aren't we? No one was supposed to be worse than Collins. Putting aside the Hopkin argument, let's just be sensible and think clearly for a minute... who in the right mind is going to take this job??? We're the least attractive club in the football league at the minute, an absolute joke, and if anyone thinks the manager walking less than threem months before the end of the season is somehow going to change all that, they're dreaming.

    Bronco - Wright and Riley will not make any difference they are poor and from what we have seen not battles. They could not find other clubs - teams not wanting them or a lack of effort by them and their agents to find a club says a lot. If they had gone - we may have been able to bring 1 or more players in.
    They can rot for me.

    The United fans largely used the 'There is no-one better available' as a reason to stick with Jose. When he was sacked and it came out that it looked like it would be Ole taking over the reaction wasn't great.

    But if Bradford take come cues from United this could work out for them. It's not about looking at peoples CV's, it's about looking at their character. Who is going to play in a way that gets the crowd behind them even after a loss, who is going to be liked behind the scenes making everyone at the club feel happier and making a nicer atmosphere which helps the players perform and who is going to play to the player's strengths. Even if they aren't the most appealing on paper if you get the person best able to do those 3 things it would most likely be better than bringing in say Evans who is largely hated by fans and toxic behind the scenes

    I didn't take him for a quitter. Its just ridiculous though. The absolute last thing we need with a quarter of the season to go and relegation looming is the manager to walk.
    Passed the training ground about 15 mins ago. Nobody there...
