I imagine any away priority would be in the form of additional loyalty points for membership rather than a specific away priority card. Just as it was with the 1903 Club.

Surely if Barrow tickets didn’t sell out to people with 960 points then there can’t be many fans who have 1040 points.
The way they are selling tickets is silly with the different bands.
They should look at how many tickets are available , say 1000 and then filter their list in points order and whatever the number is in 1000th place is how many you need.Jayteebee, Gardscoigne and Dratsab taf like this. -

I bet the club ticketing staff absolutely love administering this scheme

A season ticket holder who attended all home matches could have amassed points as follows:
21/22 - 1903 Membership = 40 points
21/22 - Away Priority = 50 points (quite a few purchased these just in case)
21/22 - Season Ticket = 150 points
21/22 - 23 League matches = 460 points
21/22 - 3 Cup matches = 60 points
22/23 - Season Ticket = 150 points
22/23 - 2 Pre-season matches = 20 points
22/23 - Doncaster Rovers = 20 points
That's 950 points without needing to have attended a single away match.
So, its quite likely that some of these bands will have quite a significant number of people who have no intention of going to the likes of Hartlepool or Colchester. I suspect, like Barrow, we will see availability reach the lower bands in many cases, with only the likes of Harrogate (and end of season matches, if we are doing well) being much of an issue.Stop hovering to collapse... I'm not interested in the bum fight for Harrogate away tickets, which is probably the only game I'd almost certainly miss out on, so yeah, I too couldn't care less.Storck, Bigrod and Rogered Tart like this. -

It's the kind of game like Colchester where if you want to go it will be fairly easy to grab tickets so it seems pretty pointless putting them on restricted sale for a long period. This is how I expected it to work as standard, not being sold to season ticket holder 4 days prior to the game like we did with Barrow as it becomes impossible to sort travel etc.
Supporters clubs on this basis are pretty confident they will have a full coach for this game and not be potentially running at a large loss.Allotment Bantam, bantamdave41 and Dratsab taf like this. -

It says if the sales go beyond the A to D bands, they will be put on sale to season ticket holders at 1pm on Saturday. Who thought that through? I'm sure that of the 1,700 people travelling down to Mansfield on Saturday that some might be interested in buying tickets. Why not move it back 24 hours? It like nothing was learn't from selling tickets to Chelsea on the day people had set off to Yeovil for a league game.Parader, Storck and Offcomedun like this. -

This does push the Loyalty Points scheme to more of a cash grab than a rewarding of loyalty for attending games.
You would spend £35 for attending a regular away game with ticket and travel and that would earn you 10 points. Buy a membership and not attend any away games and bang, you have the same loyalty points to someone who has been to half the away games but doesn't want to pay £35 for a scarf and access to the kit early and the women's games.Gardscoigne, Allotment Bantam and Bronco like this. -
Away games don't generate the club anywhere near the revenue that home matches, retail from the club shop or attending the non-football events at VP do.
So why give someone loads of points for travelling to Crawley and pumping money into that clubs coffers.
Personally I'd like it if I'm rewarded for buying a pie and a pint on match day or if I get something from the club shop. These actions support BCFC and should be rewarded as such.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Offcomedun, Bronco and Storck like this. -
I've purchased priority cards in the past and missed out on a couple of games, I've found other ways of following the game it's certainly not the end of the world some make out.XCIV_Bantam, WilsdenBantam and Rogered Tart like this. -

It's a simple concept and it's not even being implemented as it should.
Based on the minutes of the last meeting, loyalty points only matter if you are in the top end. If there is a capacity of 1,500. Only the top 1,500 are split into 4 bands to buy tickets. Thats bollocks, it's not how a scheme should work. Band A should be 1,500 then bands B, C & D should be the top end of the rest before moving season ticket sales. Bands A to D should not all be guaranteed, only Band A should be guaranteed and the rest are thrown out to the rest of the queue. That is literally how every other club run their bandings.
If you are reserving the sale of tickets to those who fit in band A to D, why have band A to D, why not just have Band A id they aren't going to sell out. What does holding back sales that fit between A to D as guaranteed achieve?
Who is on the supporters board? A load of yes men who come up with daft ideas for loyalty points for pies, or suite upgrades? Is the beer in the concourse worth less of loyalty to beer in the bantams bar?Jayteebee, Stafford Bantam and borderlescott like this.
