But you can get signed up....takes 30 seconds. You won't actually have to do anything but a contribution to swell the numbers could mean that Sparks / Rupp have to talk to the group.....

I spoke with Jamie and that was never mentioned. Though 650+ for a fairly rushed event isn't bad going. Even you attended.

You have to wonder what is going through his mind when posting this attempt to discredit the event when he actually attended it himself.

Wants the fans to have some form of discourse with the owner and then ridicules any attempt at initiating any discourse with the owner.

    Sad,sad old man.

Don’t rise to it Keefly… he wants it how it is now for ever. Frightened to death of change.

He wasn’t the only one though. I streamed it and the comments coming in were abysmal very little encouragement. Those that run the Bingley branch supporters were scathing of what fans were trying to do. Even saying that the organisers were on some kind of ego boosting mission. Your supposed to just accept whatever bilge comes at you and be grateful you have a club.

What's needed in my opinion is for one of the potential buyers to put their head above the parapet and publicly declare their interest. That way we can go after Rupp and Sparks with real evidence of interest. At the moment it's "I know for a fact but can't tell you" and this plays right into their hands.
As for last night, Rome wasn't built in a day and it may have been a bit disorganised, but it is, far as I can remember, the first real attempt to get disillusioned fans together in a room, and online at the same time. Hats off to the organisers. It's all well and good having a pop, but what do those doing so, propose that we do as a collective?
I wonder if @JonButterfield@JonButterfield can dig out his old contact book and resurrect the fly past. It's the one thing Rupp was so afraid of in the first place. It needs to be ready for a big audience, and should we beat Donny tonight, maybe the semi-final (if that's live on sky), would be the perfect opportunity.

Any potential new owners would have to sign a non disclosure agreement before they get anywhere near the club

Yeah i noticed that in the comments. A lot of egos were clearly being shown in the comments and its sad that folk with genuine concerns were being pulled on it, like you shouldn't question the club when we are in 18th in league 2.

Got chance to look at this properly this morning, I think it highlights really well what appears to be lacking at the club.

It was AirAds out of Blackpool mate.

Very professional, great to work with.

It would be quite the story to go back to them, but the key point was Rupp was actually at that game with other Germans.

I've been here already this season taking a two month sabbatical. I'm back at this point. I went to Derby with hope of a trip to Wembley and took in 3 or 4 games beyond but can't even muster the enthusiasm to watch tonight and have made alternative plans. My diary is now booked to late March in which Bradford City are not part of. In my sabbatical, I actually enjoyed not being part of a boring, non entertained world, far too full of negatives.

I also applaud those with the energies to fight on and have respect for the likes of @Keefly Bantam@Keefly Bantam and @JonButterfield@JonButterfield not withstanding my own son. To be honest, the likes of @Park bantam@Park bantam will get there way and see the club further regress, as they are happy doing nothing, which ultimately damage the club and it's fanbase.

Ironic, my actions are kinda doing the same as Park.

I posted on here before the meeting that I didn't expect anything tangible to come out of the meeting. That wasn't intended as a criticism but rather a matter of experience in these unstructured meetings. There was a lot of whingeing going on and implied criticisms on all sorts of things. I detected there was the start of a bit of a turf war between the new group and a couple of established groups. That was to be expected in fairness at this stage and needs to be nipped in the bud by everybody.

I missed the first 10 mins or so and have no idea who were the two guys who chaired the meeting on the top table. I thought they were right to let some of the discussions continue despite their being little point in what was being said!

A key point for me was one of the chairs said he had some ideas on how to proceed which he wanted to share with the meeting. Unfortunately, my link went down after about an hour and I never saw these ideas or indeed whether he shared them. For those who were there, eg @Keefly Bantam@Keefly Bantam it would be helpful to get those ideas put into the public domain somehow for others to see. Because of my link, I have no idea whether there were any firm plans on how to take some of the issues further with the club.

On balance I'm pleased that the meeting was organised. It shows to others, including the club, that fans are genuinely concerned about the situation and will go out of their way to express their views and attempt to move things on. Over time, I expect things will become clearer within the group and more cohesive. It would be wearing for everybody to pursue the club on too many fronts and dilute the effort.

I really hope that the club listens to these concerns and doesn't try to ignore them. They're not going away until changes are made at VP.

"Bantams Banter" and "Bingley Bantams" pissed me off. Condescending set of pricks who are clearly happy with the demise. As is @Park bantam@Park bantam and the like

Ideas that I heard were a mass walkout at a specific point in a match, attending a non-league game instead of VP and posting pictures of this and direct contact with SR.

The chair distanced himself from activity that would impact the club, or it's employees/suppliers, directly. Also was against the idea of anything that could be legally problematic such as tennis ball throwing, pitch invasions etc.

I might have missed some other stuff.

Yes I noticed their cmments on social media during the meeting. I agree, quite condescending to the people who had actually either turned up or tuned in. But then I guess that's the Bradford City way.

    Thanks.

They sound like a series of protests against the club itself which takes some organising but can get the points across with the right media coverage.

Was there any discussion on how to open a dialogue with Sparks or preferably with Rupp himself?
