    If Hughes resigns or is sacked the club cannot let Sparks anywhere near the recruitment process.

    Sooner Hughes is fired the better. Sparks will dither and drag it into Oct. we need to act now. The bloke does not have a Scooby.

    Hughes needs to be gone NOW!
    Personally i would go for Steve Evans, i dont particulary like the guy and his history with us when he was crawly manager, but he does get results in this division.

    Id take Steve Evans if he walked out of Stevenage but compo would be too much.

    we need a young coach from a higher league - ipswich took Mckenna from United. That sort of apt, but lesser scale

    For me it has to be the Cowleys. Fortunately, from any prospective employer's point of view, they are still available though it's nearly eight months since they left Pompey. I believe sincerely they would bring the best times to Valley Parade since your brief sojourn in The PL twenty plus years ago.

    Said it before, I'll say it again. Sparks saying Hughes had a get out of jail free card on his contract if he "wasn't feeling it anymore" was destined to fail. You can't hire a manager on "well, he might be up for it".

    Mark needs to realise he bit off more than he could staying in for another year, the Club need to realise pulling a legend off a golf course wasn't a good plan.
