Wouldn’t you be unhappy if Angol was getting in before you :(. As for the dicks booing the Cook /Oliver swap ffs have a word the kids confidence must be shot without a few bellends making it worse .............. he will get goals like Cook if the service is right sadly some bellends cannot see it :( ............... as for the ref come on we yet again helped another team out by not killing the game off at 1-0 :( we go out and go 2-0 up then they won’t start the time wasting shite

We badly miss Walker, whilst not knowing what Odasebe would bring to the party. Dion was off it today (again) and Odusina isn’t what I expected (just yet). He doesn’t command the air like Platt and seemed to dive in a bit. Time yet but most of the forwards in this league will be hairy arsed experienced lumps so he needs to learn quickly. Yann must be wondering what he’s done wrong because I think against your Wimbledons we needed that physicality. We were too easily brushed off the ball today. A point gained but I’m still waiting for us to up the anti.

I think excellent is pushing it a bit. He made a distinct impact on the game but wasn't excellent.

Pereira was poor and should have come off much earlier and replaced with Young to give us an outlook and more direct pace running at them. Wimbledon will not be the last team to learn that if they shut us down quickly and bully is a little we struggle. Angol did not look fit and Harrat should have come on instead with his pace and work rate. MH needs to manage the team selectíon and subs better against sides like Wimbledon as more teams will use the same tactics against us

He was definitely persistent and played a massive part in the build up to the equaliser but I agree that excellent is definitely pushing it a bit.

Let’s be honest we weren’t any worse than against Tranmere and Stevenage for most parts, except where it counts in both boxes.

Cliche but we’ll play worse and win and better and lose this season. Their style was like that of the teams above as well, the players are humans they won’t get it right every game. Onto the next one.

Don’t know if anyone else noticed, but the players warming up in the second half, signed loads of autographs for kids at the front of the Main Stand.
The three involved were Angol, Oliver and Songo.
Personally I think it is great, helps to strengthen the relationship between young supporters and the club. I am sure it will have made the weekend for many of them.

I remember Knott's father having plenty to say about his sons entitlement to starting in the first team. I'm pretty sure it was him.

Missing today Halliday ,Wright to go along with Critchlow, Ridehaulgh, Walker, Osadibe. Eisa we have never seen ,East did not even make the squad. Harratt has no divine right to play. We gained a point from what i thought was our worse performance at home this season without 5 maybe 6 players who could start games for me. Everyone fit he might not even make the match day squad. The strength in depth will stand us in good stead come the winter months and i still do not think we have clicked yet.

True, but you have to remember that simply being someone's parent doesn't require a qualification.

An agent or a professional or even the player themselves shouldn't be making daft statements, but someone's family consists of just anyone, just a random person.

Being the father of a football player doesn't make you anything other than someone who has had a child. If he wants to write stupid shit, it's not really on us as fans to listen to that or take it seriously. He could post "I want my son to play for Port Vale" every day until Christmas, but ultimately it's inconsequential, he's a nobody.

As long as they don't turn up at the training ground like numpty Andy Cole than I couldn't care less what they think. If they start interrupting the club, then I'll have a problem with their behaviour.

Not right away he wasn't, all he seemed to be able to do was give the ball away.

I thought the decision to bring Sutton on was strange. Angol and Oliver made sense and both had an impact and helped us get the second goal but Sutton didn’t make a huge amount of sense. Surely Young was a better choice given we needed a goal and he has the ability to beat a man and grab a goal.

I have no issue with Sutton coming on when we’re holding onto a lead but chasing a goal seemed strange. We got the point I suppose so that’s something.

Blimey. Thought Platt did well against technical forwards we haven’t seen so far this season.

Perhaps. We had an off day today. It’s allowed. They aren’t robots. Jackson said it was by far their best performance of the season. They knocked us out of our stride. We need to learn from this. But last season we would have lost that game. Agree Orients results stand apart. I still think our squad will come into play when injuries and suspensions bite. We have deeper cover than most sides. Hopefully that bears fruit as the season takes shape. Halliday and Wright are back next week. Walkers not but will come into the reckoning in a few months. We might even see Eisa..

Agree. Drysdsle hasn’t improved much as a ref but wasn’t the reason we drew. He did book one of theirs for kicking the ball away but only after we moaned at him. All refs could cut that out if they tell sides before the match and then book players early to get a grip of the game. That would nip it in the bud.

Did well to stick at it yesterday. Not a great performance - a bit sloppy. Thought Angol & Oliver did well when they came on. Shame about the idiot who ran on the pitch from The Kop and few plastic bottles thrown on when we equalised.
