    Don’t know about Mirfield but the one at Horsforth is ok - it’s a bit ‘chainy’ but they seem to have reasonable quality meat.
    Black house / Grill on the Square in Leeds is nice for steaks.

    It appears that Stockdales Steakhouse in Leeds won't be re-opening. I assumed this was a recent decision but it seems they announced it last July

    Deffo. Nice to see the T&A featuring them - don't recall them saying much about the Giles Coren review, or Jay Rayner's.

    How did it go? Not been in a couple of years it will be now. Covid and all involved but felt it had lost its way a little recently. More focussed on takeaways than the dine in which I found weird as the dine in meal were always a lot better

    Edit - just seen it’s tonight you go. Hope it’s decent. Let us know

    Booked in for the Three Singhs next week.

    Given the shortage of decent restaurants knocking about I'm digging in with the curries this summer.

    As expected How, a cracking meal at Kiplings last night. It was good to reacquaint with the lovely staff there.

    I had the Chicken Karahi which was spot on. My wife went for the Prawn Dhahi and friends went for the Chicken Shashlik and Keema Karahi special which is a usual favourite of mine there.

    All of us enjoyed our selections washed down with a couple of jugs of refreshing Cobra

    Evidently The Waterside had 9 no shows last night. Perhaps all restaurants should impose booking fees?
