    As someone who has defended Bowyer and our current season to high heavens, there are no excuses on Saturday as Mansfield are truly abysmal this season.

    A must win game to keep our top 3 prospects alive.

    I hope you are correct! However this place will go into ‘melt down’ with anything less. If and it is a very big IF we have any real hope of making it to League 1, then a win away against the club currently sitting 20th in the division, who over the last 10 games are actually bottom of the division, is essential.

    For those who like a bet, Mansfield are strong favourites (somehow?!), and we are available at 2/1 to win. So £10 on City to win gets you £30 back, I’ll have some of that!

    We simply have to win on Saturday.

    If we don't we will be out of the play off places and the pressure go into Tuesdays game will be too much.

    A draw isn't good enough.

    Substitute Cooke for Reeves otherwise the same team as Colchester playing 4-4-2 should bring a much needed win,

    But he is a tinkerman so expect 5 changes for the third game running

    Rotherham just recalled Jerry Yates meaning this league is going to be wide open again at the top. We won't have a better chance to go straight back up and we need to put a run of wins together.

    Nothing else other than a victory on Saturday is acceptable.

    I notice it took Crewe until the 95th minute to get a draw at Macclesfield. When we only drew at Macclesfield despite the fact they have lost just once this season the board went into meltdown and it was the start of the pitchfork march on Bowyer. No game is easy in any division.

    As Bowyer quoted to the Radio Leeds presenter, and we of all fans know that, how many teams over the years have had poor away records until they come to Valey Parade.
    Didn't Park Avenue beat us at Valley Parade during their last season in the football league, I think it was their only away win all that season.
