Wouldn't we all

 

Why's that ?, we didn't make the decision to allow him to go on loan where he's scored 23 goals so far, he's just another City player who will get my support as every other payers does and he'll get me out of my seat cheering when he scores, but I don't think the fans deserve any repercussions from the situation.

 

He has as much affinity for us as Swindon or anyone else for that matter Obviously he would have liked to stay there but on loan, not under contract as they were providing him with the opportunity for a good June contract with someone willing to pay him the big bucks. Now that his street cred is sky high, he will have to work to keep it so. He's playing for us so we get behind him and hope the goals continue to flow. When all said and done, we haven't had many to cheer recently.

 

Do the same as AO'C got after last years performances. Nothing special and let them do the talking on the pitch

 

Oh I don’t mind a slice of humble pie, I was not bothered when he left, thought it was a good move by the club. However, my son told me off, he said we are not playing to his strengths, he is not a target man, and if Bowyer starts pumping them up to him, I am walking out lol

I noticed from the clip of his goals they are mainly coming from midfield. He has most definitely gained confidence while away. What we can all do is not get on his back if he misses a few while he settles back in.

Even thought some reckon I made up the jibes he received at VP and away games, Doyle actually made mention of it himself.

I can't help but think if he scores on his return and the fans adore him that he'll have an opinion on that...

Difficult to pass slickly on VP pitch as it is at the moment. This is a factor we sometimes overlook. But it must have a bearing on the way we play.

Personally only bothered about how the players perform. Football is an emotional game. You express your feelings as they are at the time. Hypocrisy is for politicians and those who make promises. You can’t apply it to fans who stay with their club over a lifetime through thick and thin.

 

Did he get any worse than any other member of that excuse for a football team, I'm not sure he did.

They were obviously having a laugh about something, let's hope we see that reaction many times in the second half of the season when one or the other scores.

True - But it works both ways, yeah ? Some players have nous, and cope better .... including the opposition.

 

I’ve a feeling the good times are about to roll again. We’ve got a front two who’ve scored 30 plus already playing in front of a stingy defence. We’ve got one of the quickest players in all the 92 and a left back who can cross. We’re handily placed and the race is on. Odds on our promotion have shortened since Doyle returned. Let the good times roll!!

 

Maybe I'll wait until the 31st of January first, don't want egg on my face .

 

Swindon fans are happy because Doyle still describes himself as a Swindon player on his Twitter page and has "liked" the fact that Caddis has signed a new contract. As a non tweeter I wouldn't know the significance of their claims.
