After taking Oldham down he was lucky to get another shot at management. He’s made a good start at Swindon but a lot can happen between now and the end of the season and some of the things he’s said recently suggest he’s out of touch with reality.

I believe anything can happen in football and certainly at Bradford City, £150,200,000 would be very difficult to turn down with less than 6 months left on his contract.
Even though the football has not been great Bowyer has us joint 3rd in the league, Reeves back, Devitt, Pritchard, Palmer Donaldson all coming back, if we can get 40 points from our first 23 game with the situation we've had at Valley Parade I'd think with players coming back and maybe a couple added he can get a similar points total from the second half of this season.

If there’s a striker out there that we can buy, as you suggest, he won’t come cheap and he might well choose another club over us. It seems to me it’s not that simple as cash in on Doyle and buy a replacement. Where would you find this better player available in January. No we’ve got to get five months out of Doyle and go up.

All hard games made harder without Doyle the countries leading goal scorer, a poor points return from these 4 games could see then out of the top 3 auto's that would be a big test for Power and Swindon, do they hope Wellen's can turn it around or do they offer Bradford City serious money to try and tempt Doyle back to the County Ground, and interesting 3 weeks ahead.

 

I agree but if Swindon want to take him back surely we wouldn't allow him to leave on loan even if Swindon are prepared to pay all his wages.

 

They can't afford Doyle's wages.

Feel that they know they're rubbish without Doyle(only need to see the matches against us to realise that) but they can't afford the total package for Doyle.

Yes got to agree money talks especially now we are in div 2 maybe Doyle can do some damage for us before or indeed if he goes back because in my opinion Swindon are in a false position and certainly need a Doyle type player, sure they are top of the pile because they have got the results but I have watched them twice this season home and away and they are just an average mid table side.
