Well i did warn people last week about ejaculating too early. We’re now in flaccid semi on mode. I’m not sure even 4-4-2 would have made a difference today, FGR set ot to do a number on us and we looked clueless from start to finish. Shithouse tactics for 90 minutes and our manager over compicating things coupled with a referee who was completely to blame for never having any control of the game and dinner is served.

They got promoted in 2017 but with some heavy defeats and bore draws along the way.
18 wins plus 16 draws. Only 69 goals scored at an average of 1.5 a game.
Looks like a boring season ahead. Bit like PP the year we got to the league 1 play offs. Results over performances.

 

Scannell is far from being our best player, playing from a reputation of five years ago.

It was a boring game but I thought we were the better team in the first half and in the second half it looked like there were a couple of chances that we should have scored. Forest Green Rovers set up to defend and had minimal chances, but they took the big chance that they got. I'm disappointed that Bowyer didn't start either of the new players today and reverted to this 4-3-3/4-4-2 diamond formation that hasn't worked yet and shows no signs of working. A potentially difficult game coming up against Crewe...

 

Then bowyer didn't come out for interview for ages and when asked about it he said "they just wanted to swap shirts!"

Well @wetherbywhaler should meet with Bowyer first tell him that was an unacceptable performance and for him never ever to lose his bottle like that again.

That defeat is on Bowyer 100%. Fans will not accept poor tactics, poor formations and acting like we should be scared of teams like Forrest Green.
