I've never disagreed its a results business of course you can't stay in any job without results, I'm suggesting some on here need to give him a fair crack of the whip.

 

Sometimes got to adopt a long term view. Especially when you’re relegated. Rebuild job is taking shape and we have shifted a couple of the higher earners on now from Rahic days.

I think you picked Evans as your manager. Why has he started so poorly at Gillingham?

Jury is out for me. Yeah we judge him on the past three games of this current season, but we should also be mindful of his performance as manager overall, which of course includes his tenure last season. Either way you look at it, no wins in THREE games, and 2 wins in TWELVE games is not very good.

However, sacking him now and having to go through the whole process of finding a new manager who can get a tune out of players he didn't sign, would also be a disaster.

The BEST way to change this, as everyone knows, is that Rupp realises that he has to put his hand in his pocket (or take the transfer windfall jar off the shelf) and invest in Bowyer to help him get the job done.

 

I’m not disputing he’s here to get promotion. So give him the time to achieve it. Sack him at the first sign of any trouble with 44 league games

I do come out with utter none sense of the highest order on occasions that’s true. I’m not an apologist for GB but I can’t get my head round the utterly simplistic approach that says poor results sack the manager. Our problems are deep-seated long standing and not of GB’s making. By all means sack the manager if he’s the problem but in our case its a little more complex than that. I’m sure you were at the front of the queue advocating SMc was sacked when there was a dip in form. A few of us said he’s not the problem and ultimately we were proved right. The fact that you seem unable to move beyond you’re default solution to the problem is not surprising but it does get a little wearing at times.

 

Having already got Doyle. We only needed Donaldson to be able to start the season. Yes we are all happy to have signed Vaughan but he wasn’t the necessity that our piss poor midfield is.

But never mind, because we struggled to sign midfielders, it allowed Bowyer to sign the likes of Devine, Anderson and Colville instead....!

Playing Doyle up front on his own after saying, in his own words, he can’t play that role, DOES deserve the sack. It would be like Guardiola saying Sterling can’t play wing-back and then playing him there ....!

1) if the chairman had no faith in GB why give him pre-season and the transfer window?
2) if the chairman trusts GB why the hell would he bin him after two or three league games
3) who the hell would replace him, window about to shut, wage budget nudging the FFP cap?
