Yes the trouble is we are mighty Bradford city all we should have to do is turn up to win.. This is not an easy league to get out but I am sure we will not be far away

 

I thought you were telling me I need to demand wins.

Bottom line, there are too many people saying 4 3 3 can't work because Bradford drew two games, or that Bowyer is pants because we didn't win the very first games of the season.

I know City fans are incredibly boresome at times, but this must be a collective performance art piece, right?

 

Both full backs were poor today.

Totally agree but this could (and was) written a week ago yet nothing has been done and we’ve had the same disappointing result seven days on.

 

Think a lot of people are going abit over the top with the last two performances! Yeah we ve been poor and created very little but end of the day we ve had a poor season with relegation it takes a lot to get over it. Couple of scrappy draws will give us abit of confidence going forward now. There is a lot to build on as far as I’m concern back four is looking a lot more solid,rather longridge came in for Henley! Also think bowyer is protecting scannell a bit easing him in due to injury problems! Donaldson and Vaughan are causing problems I think after ten games we ll be up there! Still think Conway and a central midfielder will come in

 

Neither offer anything going forward. They make Stephen Darby look like Cafu.

 

I couldn't agree more but as things stand, until we bring in some new players, we have to try and find solutions to the problem with what we have.

 

The selection results in every bit of short coming you'd expect when seeing it on paper. I have no idea what Bowyer is thinking.

 

442. Gibson or Ismail left, Scannell right, any of Devine, Akpan or even Henley next to Palmer, Donaldson and Vaughan up front, with longbridge at left back.

I'm not saying itd tear up trees, but itd be balanced and everyone would know their role and be familiar with it.

Even if he wanted to play that system, you wouldn't pick that side. Gibson behind the front 2, longbridge at left back, palmer, Devine and Akpan/Henley/Colville in midfield.

My biggest gripe isnt the system. It's the abject lack of balance and players being asked to play in roles that dont suit.

 

I thought both were poor at the back as well. Needless fouls and beaten a few times round the back.

 

Mellor has never really impressed. Henley looks out of position. Palmer looks like he could be ok, but hes trying to do a lot on his own. Gibson has promise but makes the poor choices you expect from young players, Anderson is just sh*t, Doyle isnt for behind and is never a 10. Much of it is fixable just by playing a balanced side in their correct positions. Do that and add 2-3 of quality and we'd be decent.

 

Everton got outmuscled, totally lost his marker allowing Hanson all the time in the world to pick his spot unchallenged. That's what happened.

 

Tbf I think it’s what’d be produced if you gave Charlie a keyboard.
