I'm extremely disappointed our midfield is so weak.

 

Not needed in that number 10 role.
With the lack of strikers we have at the club, he's certainly needed until we get a replacement for him (if sold).

Maybe a midfield solution is already in house, until we sign someone, play Anthony O’Connor in midfield, he’s certainly not shy of a challenge or getting stuck in, can pass reasonably well. Ok not everyone’s cup of tea, but moving on from last season he seems to have a better mindset. Paudie O’Connor back to centre half

 

I agree. I'm not AOC's biggest fan by a long way but on his 2 league performances so far, he doesn't deserve to be dropped when POC comes back into the back four. As things stand with what we've got, I think he's our best option for central mid alongside Palmer, and I'd have Scannell and Gibson either side with Vaughan and Donaldson upfront.

The centre halfs and keeper have been one of the positives so far.

I know its radical, but we should sign a couple of decent midfielders to play in midfield.

 

AS Dime says, until we DO sign someone, he's probably our best available option.

 

Don't be silly, we're Bradford city, we need to play players out of position.

 

AOC has played there before on many occasions, it's not like it would be alien to him.

 

Hes been fine at centre back. Just play 442 with Devine or Aklan next to Palmer. Neither could be worse than Anderson.

 

He has, but I'd be very surprised to see Bowyer leaving Paudie on the bench again next week.

 

Two draws represents a mediocre start.

The midfield needs strengthening, and then hopefully we'll start winning done games.

Hopefully we will start winning some games? We should demand winning games not hope. Bowyer is dreadful, just how far have we dropped when fans hope we will some games. Deary me.
