I don't know how true it was but during his time at Valley Parade it was rumored Geoff was on £250,000 a year plus his Bentley, with possibly other add on's, I know it might have been chicken feed for a Premiership CEO but it certainly surprised me.

Most Football clubs may be run as businesses but most are run at a loss. Those in lower leagues the losses covered by rich owners and in the bigger leagues by debt

Nada, zero, zilch from you in terms of actual action. IF you were genuinely that concerned AND you had the skill set to make a difference you could EASILY become a club ambassador.

It's the Bratfud " Can't Do" way. Drives me insane. You and another poster mentioned a plan, but you could bang on about the future benefits of a long term project with a clear goal.....and the "Can't Do" fans will say something like....."But the first team must take priority and rightly so".....

If the club had a clear plan, explained it and told me they'd stick with it, no matter what and assess the result in 5 years, l'd go for that.

As it is, we were crap when l was a child and we'll be crap when l die with only a Barnsley/Swindon blip in between.
