Hopkin out ! Steve Evans in ! I'm serious !
We go into League 2 and Hopkins not for us ?. We'll need to "nasty our way out" of that League and Evans knows how to nasty his way out of stuff ! Infact why don't we get him in now I'd be a darn sight more confident about staying up with Evans on that touchline !

Stefan is putting money into the club to keep us afloat, the last thing he needs is to sack Hopkin and his backroom crewe, then pay out for another manager and is backroom staff.
Although I have sympathy with your logic but Mr Evans.....no not for me.

According to Jason McKeown the players weren't carrying out Hopkin's instructions when persistently lumping it forward.

If that was the case then he should have changed personnel, formation or both to try and get them playing football on the deck and creating chances.

Sometimes morals override what you think might work. Having Evans here would be a case in point, in my opinion, and I for one, would boycott attending games

Is that was @Jason McKeown@Jason McKeown is really saying?

How anyone can rate Hopkin at this moment is beyond me.

If the players are not following Hopkin's orders then what kind of manager is he?

Doubt Hopkin is the man to lead us forward. Anyone that does really need to give their head a shake because apart from that purple patch in December he has been shocking.

I thought most fans were booing Fleetwood and their so called tactics.

Read his piece about yesterday's game by clicking his name in my original post, I've linked it. Here's the pertinent quote for those that haven't read it:

'There was a debate before the game that David Hopkin is a long ball manager, and watching the Bantams resort to direct balls towards George Miller, which were continually dealt with by the outstanding Harry Souttar and Ashley Eastham, will do little to dispel this belief. But this was not the intention of Hopkin.

Before co-commentating on the Pulse today, we had a pre-match, 10-minute conversation with Hopkin, where he outlined his tactics and thinking behind his team selection. With Connor Wood struggling with knock, Jacob Butterfield had been brought in central midfield with Lewis O’Brien pushed into one of the three attack positions, behind George Miller.

Hopkin explained Butterfield was looking excellent in training, and he wanted him to play deep alongside Hope Akpan, spraying the ball around the park and setting up attacks. He was wary of the physical dominance of Fleetwood’s two central defenders, so opted for Miller over Doyle because the on-loan Barnsley forward is adept at running the channels, dragging defenders out of position and creating space, which he hoped Payne and Ball could exploit. He wanted the ball played to feet, not in the air, which was where he hoped Butterfield and Miller would make the difference.'

Stuart currently demonstrating he is a far better manager than Hopkin.

Not at the end they weren't. I don't boo the side but f*ck me there were people clapping at the end. Its like some sort of bad habit that they can't give up. If anyone clapped that crap they need sectioning for their own good.

Team struggles, manager identifies weaknesses. Board back manager with new recruits to strengthen weak positions. Team turns around bad form and rises up table.
Now turn that equation to us. We know where we are weak, i'm sure Hopkin did too. We leak goals and we don't score, especially when we go behind. We bring no striker in and let a central defender go and replace the centre back with an unknown who can't get a game at Blackpool. Barnsley do us a favour and buy Miller only to lend him us back , if we get an injury to a CB or striker we have no natural replacement. But hey we brought in another central/attacking midfielder and a guy who couldn't get a gig a Doncaster Rovers. Theres a pattern emerging here. We then inexpicably go back to playing the way that saw us rooted in the bottom four before our mini revival. And Hopkin wonders why fans booed after yesterdays shambles. Go figure David

Was first wary of Hopkin when he refused to speak to the press after his piss poor handling of a game.

Seems like one who is afraid to say he gets it wrong and change the obvious

Well you won't be laughing when anchored in League 2 Hopkin in charge; with a bunch a lightweight players and starring into the Non League abyss ! ? You need "nasty" down there and Evans has that in spades !
