Hopkin unhappy with Booing

The crowd in my opinion were not booing the players they were booing Hopkin and his dreadful team management

 

I can’t see how inflicting more pressure on the players is going to get them playing better. Having said that I was not happy yesterday, so didn’t clap either.

 

Like Onside I didn't boo but didn't clap either. True we looked clueless at times and resorted to the pointless hoof, but Fleetwood did a job on us and were one of the most frustrating teams I have seen here. I know they got all 3 points but they were absolutely dire themselves

 

No he doesn’t have a point. The booing wasn’t aimed at the players, nor was it an expression of disappointment with a poor performance or result. It was an expression of anger aimed at him, for moronic tactics that from minute one were never going to work and which he did nothing to change.

 

He's unhappy with booing? Well fans are sick of watching his ineffective dinosaur tactics every week, so he has no right to complain.

 

I was unhappy with the clapping seals at the end. Those people deserve league 2 football.

 

He got lucky with a little run under his belt on December, otherwise we would be firmly rock bottom and certain of L2 next season.

Hopkin is clueless in tactics, and it was obvious yesterday.

The formations, hoofball and late, ineffective substitutions have been obvious to nearly 20000 fans since he came in, but still he continues to deliver the same old baffling, frustrating and ineffective football that we are now so used to.

I believe we have the players to keep us up (just) but a manager that can't get the best out of them and their abilities to working with each other.

Sadly, that will send us down.

Oh, and I can't understand a word he's saying on the radio either.

Translated, it's apparently the same old excuses week after week.

I really hope he goes at the end of the season, regardless of our position

He is not the man, coach or manager Bradford City need to move forward.

 

He really needs to stop telling fans what they should or shouldn't be doing.

He's full of excuses!

It was a poor performance and he should just own it!

15k can't Mr Hopkin really handle it. If he can't handle it then how does he expect the players too.

He needs to have a word with himself because he is struggling!

 

Nothing is ever Hopkin's fault is it. Despite his dismal record since taking the reins, I cannot recall him admitting he got he wrong, either team selection or tactics.

He is going to further alienate himself from fans by now having a pop at them.

The responsibility of managing a club our size, is looking beyond him, and I daresay, he knows it.

So, in the meantime, blame everyone but himself for such abject performances such as yesterdays

The bloke in front of me boos at every opportunity during the game. Sad really.
As for yesterday the booing could have been for many things tbh.

Fleetwoods time wasting and play acting
Our lack of guile and thought to break them down
The continous hoooooof ball
The bemusing Colville sub with 2 mins of normal time remaining

I did boo their number 23 i think it was who went down like he was mortally wounded only to rise to his feet when he realised we were attacking near him.

I neither booed nor clapped but will not condone those who booed. Those who clapped really need to ask themselves why.
I wish we would play as ugly as Fleetwood and come out with 3 points. At this stage of desperation a little bit of gamesmanship wouldn’t go amiss- any little way of getting an advantage would be welcomed by me. Sadly we neither have the tactical nous, nor cojones to do it so we’ll mince our way to Division 2.

 

Booing serves no purpose. Total silence on the other hand is a stronger point.

He’s beginning to make the same sound bites as Grayson who could see no wrong in himself.

Stop tinkering.
Stop signing sicknotes.

Stop picking Chicksen
Stop signing midfielders unless they’re wingers.

As yourself @Lord Bobby I didn't boo but I can understand why some did, Hopkin has done himself no favours commenting about the situation yesterday.
We got to half time 1-0 down he had chance to change things he didn't, in the second half as a team we didnt improve and Fleetwood saw the game out and left with 3 easy points, sorry Mr Hopkin the problems are a bit nearer home and certainly not the paying public.

 

Hopkin is tactically clueless, sooner he leaves the better for the club.

Even Parky wouldn't of played 100% hoofball yesterday.
