Lewis in the three games I’ve seen looks very good. Commanding, good with feet and uses his whole box.
We weren’t up against the best opposition but other than FCD leaving his man unmarked again (like the Derby goal) we looked a very efficient and organised side.
The more I see if Harratt the more I like him - really aggressive and direct style. Young is direct as well.
Liking what I see a lot so far!

Like I say, it beats the 'go train with the kids' mentality some gaffers have.

It's not even an old school mentality vs new school mentality, it's just that some managers are vindictive asshats.

Totally agree with this, possibly the signing I have been most impressed with so far.

Commanding, excellent with both feet and doesn’t panic. Spreads himself very well when closing down, probably the one area not seen anything of his his ability to pull off a ‘worldie’ save but that could be down to his positioning.

    Definitely an upgrade thus far.

No way was Hornby better than ROD.

ROD has had a long career as number 1 keeper at various clubs. Hornby has never established himself as a number 1 anywhere in his career and he is in his mid 20' now.

ROD is still the much better keeper in my opinion.

Bass also far better than Hornby from what I saw of the pair

I can see Angol left of the front three with Vadaine at the tip. An embarrassment of riches?

6’3 according to the internet, wouldn’t mind being that small.

I told Park how tall he was in a post yesterday, which he casually ignored as usual. After being proven wrong once I thought he’d at least not bring it up again to be proven wrong again and again. He’s 2 inch taller than World Cup semi finalist and Euro finalist keeper Jordan Pickford for context…

Iker Casillas was 5'11. Great goalkeeper. Fabio Cannavaro was a cracking centre back. He was 5'8. Probably Peter Crouch got knocked back in his career many times because he was too tall. Loads of footballers who were told they were too small to make it, became greats in the game (Messi, Zola, ...even Roy Keane). David Silva originally started out as a goalie :)

Size doesn't matter if you've got the skills (as I've reminded the Mrs plenty of times).

You know what I kind of like, I like that even though Threlkeld is publicly not our plans, Hughes isn't alienating him or refusing to let him play.

We've had some petty and unprofessional managers in the past, but if you're a contracted City player with the right attitude, Hughes will look after you.

Hope he gets a move away for his own sake, but if he doesn't, more than happy with him being part of the squad.
