My thoughts exactly. When you start not caring is when you really have to fear for the fan base. 43rd season for me and I have NEVER felt as aloof from the club as I feel right now. I hate every single fecker at the club and I’d happily go back to L2 if you’d guarantee me that NOONE of on this shower (players, owners and coaching staff) remained. Time to reset the clock to zero and start again.

Like you I am a season ticket holder and fan for over 50 years
Today I went Carp Fishing ( in the past wild horses wouldn't keep me away)
Thoroughly enjoyed a stress free day out in the sunshine I started listening to Pulse 2 to support from afar and after 30 mins turned it off I didn't even check the final score till later
Sad endictment of the times when so many long term fans prefer to do other things think what other options youngsters (our fans of the future) have to do with their Saturday Afternoons
And there is a common theme developing This needs turning round NOW before our support dwindles even further Imagine the TRUE attendance on a freezing cold wet January evening
Don't know what can be done about it but I really fear for the future of BCFC

It’s not like me but I can’t be arsed reading thru’ all the comments. I’ve come away today wondering what makes me come back each week year after year. It was absolutely dire. It’s clear the coach needs replacing but I just can’t see the way forward. We have a narcissistic egomaniac making all the decisions. He thinks he knows better than anyone. Unless Rupp comes back and reins this clown in to protect his investment, I don’t know where we go. I have only ever boycotted matches once and that was to help the get rid of Docherty which was my unhappiest time as a supporter. I found that really difficult. At the moment I feel as low as I did then. I would happily boycott the rest of this season to get rid of this joke of an owner. I hope I come around but Rahic is destroying my love for this club.

 

DO NOT LET HIM @Two Legs. They are temporary owners no matter what they say, primarily here to make money. We are City fans to carry the baton onto the next generation. We are all feeling down atm, I am hoping that Rupp wakes up and smells the coffee.

He may well do, he is not making money atm, and won’t do until we go up the league no sign of that any time soon. Not sure of the partnership arrangement, could be a lock in, who knows!

 

In fairness, I did win 19€ today cos Wycombe beat us. Kind of summed it up when I was hoping we didn’t get a last min equaliser (only cos we didn’t deserve it).

I find myself in agreement with you these days more often than not Wayne.

Not on this though. I can also hold my head up and say I have supported City in their all too frequent hours of need.

There's a difference this time around. R & R are not dependent on my or your money in the same way as Lawn and Rhodes were or for that matter Simpson, Hegginbotham, Martin etc. These current guys could fund a ream without any season ticket money at all.

In the past, I bought a season ticket because it mattered financially very much to the club.

By withholding our two insignificant season ticket purchases, along with those others that have chosen to do the same, we send a signal to the owners that we are unhappy with some aspects of the direction of travel of the club.

It's arguable that it makes much difference but I do think it does send a perhaps small signal of discontent to the club. Maybe it will have an effect in time coupled with other similar signals that are directed at the club.

For all the reasons you have for buying, I felt those and it was actually not an easy decision not to renew but I think bizarrely that it may be for the greater good of our beloved City.

Keefly, I don't often agree with some of your posts but I have to agree with this one.

As a Level 2 Coach in junior football you are taught to keep quiet on a match day, not get over excited on the touchline and allow the players to make their own decisions and come up with their own solutions...but this is League 1 not the Huddersfield Junior League!!!

It was interesting in the Legends Suite after the game. Such a deflated atmosphere. McGowan got voted MOM and came up to speak to the guests. He was embarrassed to get the award and said something like I must have been the best of the worst today. He also said that the players didn't perform and didn't play to what they had been working on all week. If that is the case then I would have certainly been more animated on the touchline if I were Collins, not simply stood there with my hands in pockets or behind my back!! He said my 11 year old son should play next week!!

When I sat in the suite and looked around at some of the photos on the wall...none of this team will ever be on there!!

Like your sentiments but disagree about Rahic who has invested little and and is - according to reports taking more than his reported “investment” of £220k in salaries for himself and his wife (the football Secretary) each year. As we know from other clubs it seems easy to make a club an ATM, especially as the bulk of the remaining staff are low cost interns. I’ve paid for our ST’s as for the last 30+ years but it’s hard work!
