Without exaggeration, that 1st half was the worst 1st half I've seen City have ever. On paper we look to have decent players in the team, I know it's early days and a new team of players but that was appalling to say the least. Collins is way out of his depth. The 2 wins we've had could quite easily have been defeats, we got lucky with them. We're in big trouble this season.

 

Heard him on the way to the game Tuesday.

He wasn't happy Killa not part of the squad and I agree with him.

Collins not picking Killa to even be on the bench highlights to me he shouldn't be manager.

I'm not having that our player of the season can't even get into the squad.

If Edin has a problem with it then tell him to go get fu&ked as he needs to pick his best squad.

Collins is a weak yes man and needs to go.

 

My thoughts exactly. When you start not caring is when you really have to fear for the fan base. 43rd season for me and I have NEVER felt as aloof from the club as I feel right now. I hate every single fecker at the club and I’d happily go back to L2 if you’d guarantee me that NOONE of on this shower (players, owners and coaching staff) remained. Time to reset the clock to zero and start again.

Thoroughly enjoyed a stress free day out in the sunshine I started listening to Pulse 2 to support from afar and after 30 mins turned it off I didn't even check the final score till later
Sad endictment of the times when so many long term fans prefer to do other things think what other options youngsters (our fans of the future) have to do with their Saturday Afternoons
And there is a common theme developing This needs turning round NOW before our support dwindles even further Imagine the TRUE attendance on a freezing cold wet January evening
Don't know what can be done about it but I really fear for the future of BCFC

Chicksen is all right going forward, but not very good defensively.

He's like a poor man's Meredith.

Under Collins, Chicksen is literally anchored to the back four, and his scope to roam forward completely gone.

Chicksen didn't make a single forward run today with or without the ball.

That's not actually Chicksen's fault, and he's yet another example of a player being poorly utilised by a manager who is trying to be clever but actually looks pretty stupid.

Playing Seedorf instead of Miller was a ridiculous blunder, fielding Riley again just because Abbott chased him for 12-18 months didn't work either, and in hindsight Colville should have started - but that actually is hindsight, so we'll see if he gets a shot in the first XI next time around.

What I will say is, Miller has started twice, and we've won both games.

He's been benched three times, and we've lost every single game, without scoring while he's been off the pitch.

Attack is the first form of defence, a concept Collins clearly doesn't grasp, because he's pretty insistent on making our front line the most ineffective in the league by fielding a non-physical forward on his own.

 

We need a character we are like magnolia we were told we had multiple leaders but like everything else it’s all sound bites and bollocks

 

As it was pointed out to Wright earlier this week, surely a leader should be getting the best out of his team mates on the pitch. He shouldn’t be speaking to the local press a couple of days later saying they had let fans down and would try to put it right in the next game.

The skipper must be able to get the best from his team DURING the game, not after it has finished. I noticed again, last night, that when we started to get put under pressure and we were just hitting it high and long to Doyle, there was no leadership. Wright never once tried to get his team mates (or even the crowd) up for the battle. No motivational hand gestures or clapping the players on. He just looked like all the other players on the park. Not exactly leading...!

 

Kia Breunker is not the answer. We need a presence that the opposition fears. Everytime I have seen him enthusiasm in abundance, but can’t head an accurate ball, wasteful passes, and loss of composure. I haven’t seen a game yet, but it sounds like our midfield needs to step up a couple of gears and get the ball quickly to our front two. Breunker would provide presence if we could play twelve!!

 

Depends what the question is really. I know that he's not the Capital of Spain because that's Madrid

 

It's really strange everyone can see we've no options up front or in midfield yet the club doesn't seem in a rush to change this

It's the chairmen who appoint the manager. They have to take ultimate responsibility.

 

I think the approach today is clever.

O’Donnell was in the T&A this morning saying how much they wanted to move on from Southend.

Steve Evans a proper manager and Peterborough are absolutely flying. I don’t care why he’s done in his past before the snowflakes start.

 

Surely Rahic HAS to admit now that he has made an almighty balls-up and get in a proper manager - and let him manage???

 

Collins is just not up to this job, will he ever I have no idea, but we don’t have the time to wait!!

 

To be fair on paper we have a decentish team, regardless of how they are performing on the pitch. We probably have a better shot at getting in a decent manager now than we did in the summer given that we have a pre-assembled side now.

 

Some need to accept reality and stop making excuses mate.
