Rhodes hardly does camera interviews himself, so how is he better qualified?

You forgot the pictures or interview when Bowyer was hired?

We need to know his thoughts not Rhodes.

Rupp hid behind Edin and now is hiding behind Rhodes.

Come out and tell us the vision for the club.

    Rupp needs to stop hiding.

Lawn admitted he couldn't afford the club and wanted to sell so no.

Don't know what Rupp wants and to be honestl I feel Rupp has a major part to play in why we're in the mess we currently find ourselves in.

It's be done to death whos fault it is and I'm bored of talking about it. The man has set a competitive budget for league 2, that's enough for me.

2.6m seems competitive enough to me. What are you not convinced?

No, said it before this hasn't come for Rupp himself and it's really only 1m because you can't count on players leaving.

However, saying that I don't believe the players from last season are that bad.

All I want is Bowyer to be backed and us acting like a big club in this poor division. In my mind anything but automatic promotion is a failure.

I don't understand what you're getting at Fordy, the article this morning says he's already put money in. You can't say he only put 1m in because of current players, he's still got to pay them!!

He isn't paying them. The club is.

These players are already here. So it's 1m extra

Either way, I don't care about that I will judge on the quality of players that come to us in the summer and judge Mr Rupp spending then.

As I have said many times good luck with spending the money, I look forward to seeing the accounts going forward!

Well Mr Rupp is already claiming the money from Oli if he moves.

I'm not convinced we will have a competitive budget at all.

I had this same debate with him yesterday. He can’t seem to grasp the fact that the budget is £1.6m generated from ticket sales, plus an extra £1m from Rupp’s pocket. And this is in addition to the monies already put in to clear last season’s over-spend. Thus the budget this year totals £2.6m

But will he accept this? Nah, not our Fordy

He's only claiming back what he's already put in, which is more than what he originally was going to.

Any chance of some positivity coming from Valley Parade? Or are we going to keep getting articles about how bad the finances are and how we won't compete with pub teams this year?

I am puzzled by all of this. There has been much said about how much additional investment Rupp has put already into the club to make amends for the financial problems created during the Rahic regime. Much of what has been said is to be commended, if true. I therefore have a genuine question.

Notwithstanding what has been said and reported on here and elsewhere, why is there no evidence at Companies House (as is required) of any further significant monies having been invested so far in either of the two City based companies through either additional shares or secured loans provided by the owner?

Yeah true, but covering mistakes which cost us relegation, surely he has to take some of the blame? It would be fair in my opinion, for him to use the money (if) we get from the sale of McBurnie to put towards the transfer kitty, then pay back the money he's owed once we're in a better position ie League one. I don't remember Rupps words "any money coming into the club will be paid back to me immediately". If you're in a business for the long term (which he HAS stated), then it's very rare you get an instant return on your investment.

Deadly serious. They've got our season ticket money now so all we hear is negative shite every day, they're already getting their excuses in for failure this season.

Don't worry. All is not lost! They'll be doing the weekly "kit reveal" soon and everyone can breathe a sigh of relief.

This is the way I see it at the moment:
It's the end of May, nothing really happens now until mid/late June
Our season ticket money always goes in to the players budget -Standard
GB has been on holiday so nothing was really going to happen.
The club are actually keeping us informed and communicating with us.
The club are actually responding to ongoing issues that could affect us Wyke/McBurnie - negative/positive - it's out of their hands
The excuses haven't started - it's the facts. You'd be more pi**ed off if they didn't release statements.

All in all, at the moment they can't win. We sign a player, we extend a current players contract, Sunderland don't go up, Oli still hasn't been sold etc etc - City fans want more every time but the reality is the club are doing what they can do at this moment.
