Windfalls

I’ve not tried baiting anyone. I pointed out that the club, during the Q&A, specifically said we have 16 players contracted and that they are using up £1.6m of the budget.

You claimed (but haven’t said where you got your info from), that “players” (now thought to be just one player- Scannell), is earning approx 1/3rd of that budget, leaving the remaining 15 players to share the other 2/3rds (an ave of £1400 p/wk).

I pointed out that it doesn’t add up and that you need to review your sources and stop believing everything you hear.

No great surprise they haven't gone up. Barnsley and Luton both had far superior squads imo.

Sunderland should of walked Div 1.

Wyke as utter rubbish again and it wouldn't shock me if he is sold in the summer.

What now for Sunderland? Least their owner is trying to get investment but they could be in trouble.

Better team won in the end. Sunderland arwn’t thst good, both times we played them they looked very ordinary.

 

Think they will sell him and I am not convinced that they will go up next season.

 

He was fine as a big fish in our small pond relative to sunderland, maybe has to be the focal point of the team to be ffective but isnt good enough to justify this at sunderland.

 

Said weeks ago Sunderland would not go up auto or through the play off's, when I've seen them either live or on TV they have flattered to deceive, we should have taken points from them both games, the final was never a classic but if you're going to score a winner the 93rd minutes as good as any, just Aston Villa now

Sunderland could have some big financial issues for next season. They really needed to bounce straight back up.

 

Would be better for Sunderland if they send Wyke back to us F.O.C.
He can then play in division 2 where he belongs
