Correct hence looking at games in charge is important. That is agreed 100%
You can have a 50% win ratio and managed two games. But lets no dilute what some where saying that is was sentimental reasoning for liking McCall.
I stated he won manager of the year awards in Scotland, he got Motherwell into the champions league, fa cuo finalists, league semi finalists and managed to build 3 teams in 3 seasons that finished 3, 2nd and 2nd respectively.
Yet some think that becuase it a mickey mouse league it is no feat. I get the standard issue but to dismiss is lacking brain cell mentality.
He then arrives here and has the best win% since McFarland. In doing so we play some lovely football and loose out in a promotion final to an offside goal against a much stronger Millwall. Our budget was not great yet some seem to dismiss this. Our player of the year last awards last season showed the unity and togetherness the team has. Awesome. We went undefeated at home and won the award for cleanest team regarding bookings as we played football.
A terrible recruitment over the summer (some say it was mccalls players ;-) ) yet we are still punching above our weight, McCall continues to stack up the wins and points percents (yet some dismiss this) and finally after no backing he is fired by a chairman that wanted rid in the summer 2017.
And to finalise the insults further when a proven manager can do no better, we get he was really only good due to sentimental reasons. Beggars beleif.
You may not like Stuart as a person, you may say his stats means shit. That your call.
I myself think the man done wonders and definitely deserved the medal he spoke about working under the likes of Edin. I then asked would Parky have survived 1 win in 21 and being knocked out the 3 cups in the first round that happened a few years back. Dont know was the reply.
No one bloody knows but using logic, he would not have.

He did a good job as manager, but a few are over stating it tbh. We had a good season which after it had finished, we were still in the same league as the season before. From what I saw of Bolton over the season, we had the better team even with their bigger budget, but they were the ones who went up.
He shouldn't have been sacked in February, but it was probably best that he went, as most managers will tell you the most important relationship at a club is between Chairman and Manager/coach. Considering his and Edin's relationship he wouldn't have been here in the summer either way.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Bolton are down to their hardcore. They'll renew whatever, 6,000 of ours have run and a massive part in that is a 50% lose rate at home.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Inspector likes this. -

Craig Bellamy would be a good choice he's hungry for management plus coached in the championship. He would bring new ideas and upto date coaching ,plus could you imagine the games against Fleetwood the amount of sparks flying around the dugouts between him and Joey Barton, that would certainly keep us entertained.

I have voted for Grayson.
I dont think he comes across as a manager who particularly gels with the fans. However, his record with 4 other clubs in this division demands respect, and although it may not be pretty football he offers us, he has proved he can produce the winning formula to get out of this league. We all know that he has put a list of demands to the owners to convince him to stay, so if the owners grant him enough of those wishes to stay, then I would definitely back him to mount a serious challenge next season with his own players
If, as I suspect, Grayson doesnt stick around, I would like to see a young promising manager, as Cityloyal suggests above, Ainsworth would be a very good shout in my opinion. Nathan Jones keeps getting mentioned, but I doubt we could tempt him away from Luton to be honest. Luton have the potential to go keep the wheels rolling and progress further up the pyramid, whereas Ainsworth might think he has taken Wycombe as far as possible.
Whatever happens, once again, an interesting coming few weeks on the cards. Never a dull close season at Bradford City! -
Hoh about Jewel McCall partnership. There would be no shirking under Jewel. Just asking.

I want Grayson to stay but I am pretty certain he won’t sp I would go for someone with experience of bringing young players through.
